Seems like the box sets are selling more than I thought. I bet that the new box style is to blame.

I like the boxset. Looks like I won't be getting it anytime soon though.

Interesting how the Box set hasn't sold out just yet.
Is it the figures? Is it the economy? Is it the quantity made?

    I wonder ...

Or some people might like the toys.

I'm sure it's a factor of all of the above, but it bears repeating that the quantity made is larger than it's ever been for a BotCon before (so we've been told).

No. Last confirmation we got from FP was that sales were in the high percentages.

Looks like the sets are selling well and it looks like its going to be a fun time there, but to be honest, I am not going to the party because I feel like I might get overwhelmed due to the crowd (unlike Botcon/Convention area where I have something to take my mind off of it and at the Convention, I can at least leave when I want to if needed).

You may be thinking of when they announced that they'd sold out of loose sets some time back.

What's the advantage to progressively releasing more Iacon packages? Hedging their bets to ensure a sellout? That's all I can figure.

Kinda sorta. They still want to ensure that anyone who attends gets a set, but they certainly do want to make the money off of non-attendees if they can....

TRANSFORMING box? Just 2 flaps, please. A neat box, sure, but transforming?

And long story short indeed. They're never long e-mails, but somehow always end up being longwinded.

And I'll shut up now, I'm being too negative again.

That's easy to do this year. Hopefully next year's offering will be better.
