    Man, that cover is all sorts of cool. I can't wait till I get my exclusive set!! I really dig the primal mold. I love botcon comics for some reason even though I have always heard negatives towards them. I still remember the first botcon comic I got about Shockract and had Geoff Senior art. I just wish they could get Geoff Senior to do some more botcon art.

    So, in the comic, will they be called by their "animal" names? It seemed pretty obvious in Beast Wars Part 1 that they made up new names to suit their outword appearance, and that is why they were introducing each other to their crew mates who already knew who they were. (ex. "Call me Rattrap.") So, if this is pre-Earth Beast Wars, wouldn't it make no sense at all for them to be called Rhinox, Cheetor, Rattrap, Waspinator, etc.?

    Rhinox head... hurts.

    Seriously, does anyone think that bears more than the vaguest of resemblances to Rhinox?

    The Rhinox head does have a very "Magnus" feel to it in the pic.

    I read somewhere they would be called by their beast wars name as to no confuse people about who they are talking about or something like that.

    Me on the other hand, I'm refering to them as Dozor, Speedor, Speedtrap, Megatron, Aviator, Frenzy, Terrorsoar, Prime Jr. (long story not interest in explaining again), Demobot, and I haven't come up with a name for scorponok yet

    Not that much, but I could see it almost as a "young" Rhinox.

    The heads of Rattrap and Waspinator in the artwork rather emphasise that the con toys won't have them, however.

    To be fair, they gave him a new head on the cover. If there's one thing that comic covers have taught us by now, it's that the exact scene, and often enough the exact designs, used on the cover, generally do not appear as such inside the comic.

    HELLO! CONTINUITY ALERT! Ahh, aren't the Maximal crew of the Axalon deep in space exploring things while Megatron and his rogue crew steal the disk from Cybertron and then fly off towards Earth... The Axalon is called in to intercept them because they're the only ones in that part of space... Why are they fighting each other on Cybertron? Or is this a Pat "The cover has nothing at all to do with the story" Lee style thing?

    Rhinox keeps the dream alive, why not Rattrap. :mad
