Most places don't seem to have covered the Collectors' Club Magazine Panel that just happened at BotCon, so here's the Allspark's liveblog from the event:

There was some interesting stuff about where the magazine comic is going next year and the creation of the 2015 convention comic and theme, plus info about other releases like the magazine collected editions.

Plus, a tease that the Club Roundtable panel might be revealing some figures from Combiner Wars moulds...

Staff Edit: TFW2005 coverage here, please don't link out for Botcon coverage, thanks.

Hope they're considering making a Thunderclash out of the CW Optimus/Motormaster mold.

To further speculation RE: a Fun Oub combiner, here's a teaser image that's on display for tomorrow's roundtable:

    This is totally babies, Hmmm

Looks like we might be getting a Mayhem Attack Squad combiner for TFSS 4.0...

Mayhem attack squad could be cool, but NOT for a combiner set... The club really dropped the ball on this if that's what ends up happening, a new club combiner set should have been LioKaiser- enough molds to have a complete combiner AND extra members to swap out as limbs (Jallguar from Offroad and Deathcobra from Blades)

    LeoZack- Cyclonus
    GuyHawk/Hellbat- just pick 2 jets
    Killbison- Rook
Drillhorn- assumed technobot retool, or at the worst another Rook retool.

Hell, throw in a micron animal with each one as a representation of their Breast Animals

That's a full combiner right there, and with the 2 aforementioned molds, adds some great versatility, I would gladly throw my money at THIS for 6 years.

Liokaiser is a pretty good idea in theory, but its downfall, I think, is in the fact that the club probably couldn't budget for giving everyone a new head, and the animal hats are a pretty key part of the Breatforce's look.

Since the Classics version of the squad contains Ruckus, does this mean the Offroad mold is getting its original intended use?

Itvwoyld work just fine if the set functioned the same as the previous Club Combiner set- one figure a year as the club freebie gets retool, a new paintjob, and if the tfss is any indication of budget, could afford a micron as well. The club has plenty budget these days, they can do this

I'm curious on which lineup they'll choose for the Mayhem Attack Squad, because Ruckus's team was only 4 members.

Wonder if Shattered Glass Mayhem Suppression Squad as a CW gestalt is possible...if not I'm wondering how they'd fill out Ruckus' Classics' Mayhem Attack Squad...???...and...who'll form the core bot...???...

If they do Mayhem Attack Squad from Combiner Wars molds I might pick up the individual figures based on look, but I'd probably ignore a 'combined mode' just like I'm ignoring Galvatronus or that FoC Wrecker's ability to combine.

I don't hate the idea of SG but they need to. Forcing it in almost every year was annoying.

I'd just like to see some later year characters get some more love. They could use other characters from the era..

    Thunderwing from Silverbolt
    Spinister from Alpha Bravo
    Ruckus from Off-road
    Needlenose from Skydive
    Windsweeper from Air Raid

Unfortunately it means most will be Aerialbot retools..

This. 1,000 times this. Kind of sick of SG at this point. It was interesting the first year, but I think it's run it's course.

It always came off as such a lame Star Trek rip off too me, and the bulk of the decos have been pretty terrible, or wasted a potential proper re-use age like Road Rage.

Glad they are talking Diaclone, kills me I can't get these first two!

I know Shattered Glass has its naysayers, but it's hard to argue the fact that those exclusives have tended to be quite successful, compared to other concepts FunPub has tried. I really can't fault them for continuing to explore the concept. I simply can't agree that it's been "played out" until they at least give us that last prose story that finishes out the SG Underbase story arc.

I think I would have liked Thunderwing from Silverbolt better than Bludgeon from Onslaught...
