    Me either!! :D

Likely not. Considering he bid that dutch auction for 5 Optimus up to $600 PER OPTIMUS, ($3000 total) I don't see him getting beat on this one. Wanna see how high it goes though.

How is Brian Savage paying for all of these? Where did he come up with thousands of dollars he could use to attempt to dissuade these Chinese eBay sellers from selling presumably extra Botcon toys? And what is it really going to accomplish anyway?

We are not paying for them. We are getting their info and filing police reports. This stuff is stolen, plain and simple. People overseas and state side who re-sell the items are selling stolen property.

When our shipment comes in and it states we are short X number of pieces and then we see all of those pieces we paid for on ebay, well, at some point you have to say enough is enough.

good for you guys...you should crack down on this...while it is fantastic to see the toys, i'd much rather see them in a well lit, great picture gallery setup by FP...

If they do crack down on such sellers, it would definitely save some collectors a LOT of money.

And I totally support you all doing so. :thumb  Good to have it clarified, since I was wondering what was going on. None of us knew if these were actually part of the FunPub order or if they were extra figures produced while the line was running or what. Worrisome, since it appears those figures ARE coming out of FunPub's stock.

I never realized that these Botcon figures showing up on eBay actually impacted the sets themselves. I was under the impression that these were extras, discarded samples, something else. Were any sets ordered in the past actually missing figures? Will FP also go after unfinished stuff (if there is even any around now) like the early unpainted Starscream?

I've got no problem with you taking such action, if my post implied that, just totally clueless about what was happening. Thanks for the clarification, and keep on keeping on, or whatever. :)

    Good for you guys.:thumbs2:

I guess I was kind of right when I said the prices seemed inflated. I just didn't realize who was doing the inflating.

Yeah, I would be hella pissed if I wasn't able to get my pre-reg set because some jerkwad stole some and threw them up on ebay. Fingers crossed that Pete and Brian get everything they ordered so they can fulfill all the orders.

Oh, and on an unrelated note: Peaugh, you brought Rick back! :D

I have seen some "NOT FOR SALE" stamped Botcon Primes lately with the windshield purposely damaged, so I'm guessing those aren't part of the order, but it looks like most of the loose stock seen on auction sites ARE stolen pieces, and not discards/overruns/etc. Makes me more wary of the Ratchet and Blackarachnia I have. I know that all the rest of my Animated figures are either dealer samples or pieced together from discards, but those two I bought carded and are likely stolen as well. Nuts.
