For those of us who can't get there, Shout Factory is doing a live stream. The schedule shows that they will be doing live streams of the panels, so we should be able to see the pics and things that we normally can't see unless we are there. Wow, I'm shocked that Hasbro and Fun Pub are actually allowing this. Especially Fun Pub. So much for "protecting the interests" of the Club attendees?
Tomorrow at 3pm PST. Unfortunately, I will be on my anniversary date with my wife at that time ( 6pm local time ), so I will miss it. Hopefully it'll be like most youtube live streams, and watchable after the live stream ends.
But do they just screen them in a room or does the voice cast guest talk about them... Just showing them seems a bit odd to me... I guess they show them on a large screen though so I guess that has some appeal.
It's a live stream. My guess is they'll have a camera set up in the panel room. It'll be like being there.
Ooh, didn't realise this Shout livestream event included BotCon stuff. Definitely gonna tune in for some of this. The script reading's inclusion is particularly nice, considering it's usually hit-and-miss as to whether a recording of that is released.
The actual Hasbro panel isn't at 3 though. And the segment they include is 15 minutes long. I strongly suspect they'll edit out the Q&A/new product reveals, which leaves some interesting stuff all the same (namely, the design team comments on stuff we know about)
This is amazing? I can't believe they didn't do this years ago? (I mean like since livestreaming was a thing) Hahahaha no more waiting for SDCC.
