on a side note, which size class and form is that animated optimus? I'm getting that one.

As much as I like this I can't see spending $200 on it (with shipping). I guess he figures since Lugnut sold earlier for $200 (with shipping) that maybe this will too.

I just don't get the idea of buying something that isn't released yet for ten times what it's going to sell for once on the mass market (OK, so the Botcon Prime isn't exactly "mass", but you know what I'm saying).

 

I'm so digging the Botcon set. As for Animated, it's very difficult to wait until June.

 

Love it. Love the battle damage, love the gold accents, love the grey/black head, love the cheesy slogans.

I particularly love the shade of purple. I deem thee Optimus Plum.

 

Best colour scheme on the Voyager Classics Prime mold imo.

 

In that shot of him just sorta standing there it makes me like him more than I did before...but I'm still pretty "meh" about it

 

It looks like the "dirty" windshield deco has been modified to have more clean space on the windows. You can kind of see the curved line along the bottom of the windows.

 

Hrm. It's growing on me. However I still don't think this year's set is a patch on the last 2 years.

 

Still liking it a lot. "Til All Are Gone" is one of the most creative things about this set. $200 seems a bit outrageous for this one figure, though.

I'm still of mixed opinion on this particular exclusive. I'm sorta blah on the colors themselves, but I dig the scraped-up look.
