A friend of mine at the 'con took photos of all the bios last night; sadly I don't have a link handy.

Needless to say, they are very awesome bios indeed. Some are the ones that were printed in the club mag, while many are new.

For that matter, not only did BOTH black repaints TakaraTomy get techspec cards, but in Rodimus' case anyway his bio is basically the same as the TakaraTomy fiction.

And for people wanting to know more about the Shattered Glass bios, I'd strongly hint to check out Formspring, as Derrick spends a lot of time there and has expounded on Shattered Glass TFA there. Some of those SG characters have Formspring players as well who Derrick is on very good terms with.

 

Most of these look pretty good. The Sideswipe and Autotroopers are pretty sweet... but DEAR GOD WHAT IS THAT THING??? Actionmaster Thundercracker?? It's like an open challenge to Chinese knock-off toy manufacturers, to see if they DARE come up with an UGLIER colour scheme!

OK! got Galvatron off eBay for an OK price. Not swell but I don't feel I was subjected to the GREED of Botcon.

 

...its completely accurate to the 1991 toy.

^ Oh come on, it's neat. If I were insane and liked Seekers more than I liked money, I'd totally get G2 Ramjet and SG Thundercracker and they would be FRIENDS FOREVER!  

 

It fits into the G2 Redux theme from last year.

 

I do wish it wasn't necessarily accurate. I like bright vibrant colors but it's just too much of a random mish-mash.

 

Is it just me? I'm picking up a strong "A-Team" vibe from SG Thundercracker's Tech Specs.

 

That is...just... such a thing of beauty. It makes me want to cry. I want it.

 

given that sideswipe was based off of the rodimus mold, i,m glad they used the g2 color scheme. otherwise, it'd turn out to similar to rodimus

LOL, these pics make me more glad I'm not attending. Man, too much animated love going on. Of all those, I'd say the AM Thundercracker is the only one of interest for me. I don't even like the mold they used for SG Galvatron (although it was rumored). Terrible convention exclusives. Should make the animated fans happy though.

 

Are those some of the ugliest repaints ever or what?

 

Glad I didn't attend this year, not digging this years exclusives. I'm not a big fan of the animated line so I saved a bundle.

 

I'm loving all the Animated figures! The only one I was iffy on at first is Sideswipe but after seeing a few more pics, he's definately growing on me.

 

I am going to have to get my hands on a horrendously colored Thundercracker, I need it in my ever growing armada of Classic Seekers. It will make my CHMS Rainmakers look normal.
The other dudes, maybe, I havn't decided yet.

 

.........Is it me or is Botcon 2011 starting off kind of lack luster?
There were so many TF reveals last year and that was on day 1.

Second problem I have is if this showcase is going to be all about TF rime and DOTM then
