This would be correct, however we also did get a red Scrapmetal, but the Botcon Version had the Cody Ramble heads included. They alternate heads were used to make Rumble and normal insectoid heads used to make Inferno to match the 2006 set.

However, the only thing similiar between this custom class figure and the mass-release was the mold and the name. The colors for the custom class and the final release are different. You can *Sort of* see the differences in one of my pics here.

 

i know hasbro really changed the colors for their overkill. overkill was just the only character to be first offered in the class then later offered by hasbro. the concept was still the same, even with the color change

 

At worst, I should have something up on Friday. I don't attend the class myself until tomorrow, though.

Seems like a bad idea to me to have the customizing class's fig be directly related to the previous year's fig. If only for the simple reason that after attending one year there's absolutely no guarantee you'll get in the following year's class. Sure you could try and buy someone else's fig that did get in, but it wouldn't be the same as if you'd done it yourself, I'm sure.

 

You could also just... Paint a version of last year's yourself?

I never really saw the point of customizing class exclusives... If I want one, I'll just buy the fig it's based off of and repaint it to match the exclusive. Still - can't wait to see what color scheme they went with! These are fun customs if only because they're canon!

For what it's worth, I have never considered customizing class exclusives to be "real" exclusives, and I'm sticking to that position even though I am attending this year's class (tomorrow).

 

Hmm, not a bad choice... As a stab in the dark, I would say he's going to be the colour scheme of Skyquake colours.

So... Not quite a pleasing colour scheme... ^^;

 

God, I hope so.

Also, the customizing class fig should always be SG related. It means more SG stuff.
