Rest assured, it's still on its way for those who couldn't attend (nor preorder at the show).
Supposedly slated for a Spring 2023 release. It should be going up on the Agabyss website at some point in the near future.

 

Aha! Thanks for the update!  

 

It's been a VERY LONG time since I posted but wanted to say thank you to all who supported us. It was a tiring effort and hope everyone had as big a blast as I did!!! Maybe not as tiring but....well, it is BotCon!

 

I mentioned it to Hany when I was leaving, but I'll post it here, too.
This might not have had all the "official" bells and whistles of the FunPub era shows, but damn I had more fun this year than I did from 12-16 (when I started going). The exclusives were cool, even if they weren't for everyone, the dealer room was thooming, the layout was condensed enough that it didn't feel like a journey getting from panel room to autographs to dealer room, but spacious enough that we weren't crammed in.
The after-hours parties between individual room sales, hotel bar, the Friday ROC Party, etc were all just high energy, tons of fun. It really felt like from Fri-Sun the whole 3rd and 4th floor belonged to Botcon attendees (moreso the 3rd than the 4th lol)
I really look forward seeing what was built this year as a foundation being improved upon in the years to come.

 

Speaking of the years to come...

The last rumor I heard about the future was that Botcon would not have a 2023 show but would return in 2024. But I heard that before this show proved a runaway success. Did that change the game plan at all? As we move into the last quarter of the year and some of our jobs start nudging us to pencil in our vacations for 2023, it would be great to know, say by the end of November, if there's a particular week I need to be reserving...

 

The sooner we know the better, I definitely agree lol
I'd love to be able to go ahead and put the time off request in asap

 

I really hope they make an announcement before the end of the year

 

Just a heads up - I had ordered the Gaea Shirt via the official shop for Con Merch weeks prior to the con. Figured I had a great shot at the merch as it's pre-con so all sizes in stock right? No contact or notices & the con happens.

After the con, I received a message from an iphone that it was not available & they wanted to sub all kinds of other merch instead. I declined, as was a Christmas gift & sought a refund. Was never responded to in a month. Had to seek a refund via paypal & was granted immediately.

If anyone else has yet to receive merch etc. from the official shop, you may wish to investigate. I will not be attending/giving them business again. Horrible customer service practices.

 

I have that shirt never worn, size XL still in plastic packaging, came with the book in a package. Would you be interested? I could do $20 plus shipping.

Something odd going on when I try to buy this - The cart tells me the cost is £111.65, and that the 'Total Charge' is $159.30 - which is £145.20. What is the additional charge that I'm not being shown?!?!?!

 

Botcon 2023. Yes / No?

 

Weeellll... the Botcon Twitter account is saying "stay tuned for 2023 info!" So... yes/no/maybe?? I'm certainly not in the loop... but the clock is ticking down on turning in my vacation request form... maybe @Autobot City Comics 2008 could cold-call some hotels, I think that actually worked in 2014...

As @Ikkstakk mentioned, time is ticking down on putting in work leave. I'm mindful there are other TF conventions in USA but being overseas can realistically attend only one next year.

 

Still no update since the "stay tuned for 2023 info".
