Strafe has a 5mm peg just behind his cockpit which is likely what Scrounge attaches to.

Probably to break up all the red, however i think they could of used a bit more red though, just for the minor details on the arms to break it all up.

Problem with Lightspeed is for him to be accurate, he needs to be pretty bland, something Hasbro doesn't tend to do.

Seeing that Afterburner does in fact have the new head, I think I do like it better than the UW version. I think the brighter orange will help break up all that red on the UW Computron.

Now I've got to figure out if I want to try and track him down separately or if I want to buy this whole set and part out everything but Afterburner. Fortunately, I don't care for Scrounge or the new hands and feet. I might also be able to sell off Strafe and Nosecone. But odds are I'll be stuck with Scattershot and Lightspeed.

These look really good. Definitely picking up this version.

If I could pick one thing to change it would be the transparent green on Afterburner. It just seems out of place.

What's that have to do with these figures?

These official images weren't renders, and none of these Hasbro Technobots were shown before them except art work and a leaked combined mode.

If someone thought Hasbro Afterburner had a Groove head, that is kind of the fault of Hasbro, they released the images. A render may not reflect a final figure, but typically painted prototypes are close to what we get.

As a matter of personal preference I think I'll attach Scrounge as he's displayed but peg his targetmaster partner on top of the combiner gun.

That's on purpose, so people stop stealing their pics.

You can't crop out a water mark when it's over a key part of the figure.

Funny enough, that "head sculpt" would work better for Computron than the one we're getting :lol

I've never understood costumes that aren't actually costumes but instead some sort of advertisement.

Man, CW Computron's strong points are Scrounge, green canopy Lightsteed, and nice looking Strafe. UW Computron has on-the-money bot modes and alt-modes, but no Scrounge (coming out as a TAV?)

    That costume... Nightmare fuel. *shudders*

The more I look at these Computrons, the more I think I'm going to have to buy both to make one good set, sell off the rest. *sighs*

I kind of want the Hasbro hands/feet set, along with their Afterburner and Strafe. I'm even on the fence about their Nosecone. (I'd like to put Takara's NC head on the Hasbro one. I'd be happy with that.)

I don't know. I can't justify that kind of money, not even to myself. Dang it.

Not familiar with Compton... is he an Autobot? It'd work for Hasbro's Computron as well.

Looks like you're giving Hasbro ideas for this year's SDCC!
