except those figures suck....the proportions are all terrible i think one figure has legs that go up their arms...literally

 

Okay, the shark is not great, I'll give you that. But I don't see anything overly terrible about the lion and the bird, and they're figures I didn't just buy a half-dozen times this year.

 

The Predacon is Ram Horn, the Autobot is Ramhorn, two different characters.

 

Honestly, I'm betting on Centuritron being redecoed into either Magnaboss or Magmatron. The individual mini-cons themselves won't really work, but I think the combined mode would be passable.

 

The Shinobi team has better proportions than the Samurai team, which do have leg joints traveling up most of their torso due to the fact that the legs must also become arms in combiner mode.

 

While I like these enough to have bought them all including the Black Lion redeco, I doubt that Fun Pub feels these guys are worth it at the prices they'd have to charge. The figures weren't well received by western fans (who knows if the Japanese fans liked them), so using them would probably be a disaster for Fun Pub. They're much safer using Combiner Wars figures, even if used a lot, that can fit in with existing collections and interact with existing figures.

Dude we already have a CW Magnaboss, it just needs arms.

 

actually I think the Samurai team would work better as the Magnaboss trio.
Ganou in grey and red as Ironhide
Jinbu in Brown and white as Silverbolt
Kenzan in Yellow and Brown as Prowl

Repaint Silverbolt, Ironhide, Prowl in "their" BW colors and release them as a souvenir pack. I'd buy them even without two extra limbs. The story can be those three are "Magnaboss" and he just uses whichever two Autobots are around to help as legs.

Just set enough of the budget aside for a new combiner head. And have the artwork be from the waist up.

 

Tripredacus was one of my favorite BW figures. I was disappointed when he did not show up when the council did. This set seems okay but I will not be able to get it.

Well I guess this throws the Sky-lynx retool as Magmatron out the window.

 

For the Predacus set anyway. We don't know what plans they have for souvenirs.

 

I want Scattershot to be remolded into Cicadacon.

I'd be okay with that, if only because the Club is already releasing the Onslaught mold via the sub. I like the Cyclonus version of that mold, and would be fine having a second version of it.

Doesn't leave any molds that really fit for Sea Clamp, but whatever. We'll know soon enough!

 

Cyclouns will be Seaclamp, Cicadacon will be Air Raid.
