Surprised they're going with the cartoon deco too. I'm hoping the toy looks nice in those colors. I wonder how the bat wings will fit in the body.

Well, this seems like an interesting mold for Ram Horn.

Now, let's prepare for the fan rage up ahead.

Is that the cartoon deco, or is it just red lighting?

    Awesome!

Hope the head design from this picture is accurate, wondering how the headwings fold up.

Well, they only showed up in the red lighting in the cartoon.

I'm surprised they had enough sense to black out the other two guys before shadowing over them.

Guy on the right looks like an aerialbot redeco. Lefty is probably a body mold.

Yeah, that's why I ask. It looks like there's some desaturated brown and purple there tinted red; just seems sorta odd as it looks like a potentially purple tank (when the rhinoceros beetle was brown on the original with purple insides)

Seems like the former, as his right arm is being lit red by the light while the rest of his body isn't being influenced by a light source. Being red, gray, white, and yellow as is.

I guess we'll see later today though.

I dunno if it's the cartoon deco, the redlight theme, or the fact that Ramhorn was already a reddish/brown color. It'll be interesting to see the figure in full CGI glory once they post it.

The one thing that actually *does* confuse me is I always thought this was Sea Clamp. With Ramhorn being the guy to his right and Cicadadon being the one to his left. But that's also because I haven't kept up with IDW fiction. Is *this* the first time we've had official confirmation as to which was which?

Excited that he's an arm, as it means we're one step closer to the Sea Clamp/Onslaught Cicadadon/Skydive pairing that's started to become the popular theory (and at least from a mental image looks good).

Brawl is an excellent pic. Bot mode was a crap shoot, but the turret in vehicle mode translates well to the beetle horn. Will be interested to see how they deco it further to bring out additional detail.

My own theory on Cicadacon is that he's Cyclonus. Note that the border of the image conveniently obscures any back kibble, and the shape of his chest in profile is NOT flat but in fact juts out.

Plus then it would give him his swords from the toy AND his proboscis from the toy.

I only got the original tripredicus at roll out roll call this year. This looks fun though, I think they will use prime or motor master as the core bot, combined mode chest would look the part.

I used to get them mixed up as well, but Ramhorn was the middle one, Sea Clamp the one on the left, and Cicadacon on the right.

I forget where this comes from (from IDW or the TV script) but it's been like that for a while.

So to add some speculation on Sea Clamp, knowing this art is of the TOYS...

Assuming that Sea Clamp is NOT the torso, the art arguably rules out any Aerialbots or Offroad due to their backpacks. Further, Rook/Brawl/Breakdown are presumably off the table, as is Alpha Bravo because he's a ground-based character (which incidentally FURTHER rules out Aerialbots).

This leaves Dragstrip, Dead End, and Swindle as possibilities, to just go off base molds here and not count the retools as separate things. I could see Swindle as a possibility, given jeeps can be beach vehicles, though Dragstrip would have a lobster-headish look in altmode AND a slimmer profile.

I honestly didn't see the Tripredacus Council coming, but since Tarantulas and Ravage were the first 2 figures shown and that they were allied with the Council in the show, it's not too much of a surprise.

I assumed Ramhorn would be made from Brawl. My gesuse for the other two Seaclamp from Cyclonus and Cicadacon from Air Raid.

surprised they're using the Brawl mold. since that mold isn't even out yet....and it'll be on the shelves around the time BotCon happens.

    Nice catch their Hot Shot.
