That's VERY possible! I have tf friends all over this state! From Fayetteville (the nw corner of the state--home of the razorbacks) to Jonesboro (ne corner) to fort Smith far east state line...

It wouldn't surprise me at all if we knew some of the same peeps... That would be frickin awesome!!

I'll tell you what tho. I'm gonna be wearing a shirt both Friday and Saturday (don't worry, I'm buying two different shirts that are slightly different from each other...) that looks like soundwaves chest and am planning on buying some of those "hello, my name is" stickers that you can buy from wal-mart, and I'm gonna write "144" on the name tags so people can read it and know who I am... Maybe you could look for me and we can hook up and see if we know the same peeps? I'm hoping to meet alot of my tfw friends at botcon...

The guys I know (not too sure if they'd wanna be named here) are both from the Little Rock area. One's a lawyer, the other is a musician and graphic designer. The latter occasionally shows up here, username "gothsaurus".

If I spot you, I'll be sure and say hi! I'm pretty sure attendees already get a name badge though.   At least I remember having one in 2005.

I attended on a day pass in 2005 and 2012 when Botcon was in the DFW area. Couldn't pass that up, obviously! Unfortunately, I couldn't spare the funds for the full experience, so this will be my first "real" Botcon.

According to the Botcon website, the concert is on Friday evening, probably some time after the dealer room closes on that day. It also indicates to stay tuned for more details on the concert.

I meant to ask this a week ago but it slipped my mind. My wife and I are staying at the Residence Inn over on Market and Preston - about 6 blocks east and 2 blocks south of the Galt House. It doesn't look too far to walk but is it a safe walk from there?
