Starting up a new thread with the full list of exclusives since there's some misinformation in the other threads. Most of this we knew before but there has been some confusion on the whole Sixshot thing - it's not Sixshot, it's Brimstone, which I was able to confirm with Pete briefly this evening.

Also it's not actually Shokaract we're getting, but "Hunter", which you may know was what Shokaract was before he got the Matrix of Conquest.

Full details as follows:

Knight 3-Pack (limited to 1,750 sets) - Alpha Trizer (Prime Thundertron redeco), Apelinq (Beast Wars 10th Anniversary Optimus Primal) and Flareup (Prime Mainline Arcee)

Pirate 2-Pack (limited to 1,550 sets) - Hunter (not Shokaract per se, but the original form of Shokaract from Reaching the Omega Point's backstory. He uses the Rampage retool of Prime First Edition Megatron). The other figure in the set is Brimstone, not Sixshot as previously reported. He's a redeco of Fall of Cybertron Fireflight.

Clone 2-Pack (limited to 2,000 sets) - Pounce and Wingspan, from the Prime Vehicon and Jet Vehicon toys.

Kre-O Botcon Anniversary 6-Pack (limited to 1,500 sets)

 

Am I missing a really obvious reason why he's called Alpha "Trizer" instead of Alpha Trion?

Did FunPub really trademark the name "Hunter"?

Who's in the Kreon set?

 

I...can live with Brimstone. I'm more agreeable to that than Sixshot, even if that feels even more random (until I remembered he was actually part of Thundertron's crew, right?).

So will Pounce and Wingspan come with more Arms Microns as partners as hinted at, or the standard Vehicon blaster weapon the Hasbro deluxe came with?

 

What a let down. Don't get me wrong there are a few nice figs but I don't feel it really follows the supposed theme

 

He might still be called Shokaract on the bio card for all we know; "Hunter" is a reference to his Botcon 2000 backstory, interestingly.

 

It's just a ton of product for the sake of having a ton of product.

wtf does alpha trizer mean?

 

So, for anyone who's got the box set already. Does the certificate inside have a number on it indicating how many sets were made this year? (Last year's didn't, but all other years have had this information)

 

Alpha Trizer = Alpha Trion, Lionized.

 

 

Sixshot would have been awesome, but I'm perfectly ok with Brimstone. It was a really cool toy, and Fireflight should work very well.

 

Alpha Trizer - there's a reason in the comic but I'd prefer not to spoil it.

Hunter - unknown, I'm going on the story in the comic where they call him Hunter throughout

Kreons - unknown other than there are six of them. At a guess, Trizer, Flareup, Flamewar, Shokaract / Hunter, Apelinq and A.N.Other

Arms Microns with the clones - no info as yet, but the Jet Vehicon was never released with a Hasbro gun...  

 

I wonder if Brimstone will come with the Micron that came with the Takara FOC Shockwave?

I wonder who the 6th figure is going to be for the Kre-o set? FunPub did something similar with the Joecon Kre-o set this year, including a Joseph Colton figure into the set.

I see, thanks on the micron bit. I'm hoping, since the Jet mold is being used, that that means the microns are used, since I'm a minicon whore and I love the Arms Microns anyways.

I wonder if all this will clock in around last year's prices (a little over $300, counting the Kreon set) or if there'll be a bit of a price increase anywhere.

huh.. how are they going to do Puma and Condor modes for 'Pounce and Wingspan' homages using the two different Vehicon moulds?  

color wise? do they mis-transform them to look more animalistic?  

 

The car and jet made me think they should have done Cloudraker and Fastlane instead.
