Botcon 2011 Theme Hinted

    As I agree and I like animated I don't think it will work as a botcon set.
    Take a look at animated arcee/rodimus. sure there was a heavy buzz but in the end there pretty much shelf warmers on LI/NYC..and that was a TRU Exclusive.

    Even if they released all the missing seekers I don't feel it will have the same draw as 2007 or 2008 sets. I loved animated but its not like the same as a BOTCON Classic Thurst and Dirge. I don’t mind paying retail for animated but as soon as soon as they go above retail I bail.
    Animated sons of cybertron set...plenty out there. Black Rodimus...plenty out there. There's no really "collector" draw IMO.

    I'm not disappointed if it’s animated, but I'm not excited either. I really don’t think it will be that impressive of a set either way. It would be a very easy pass for me and I have most of the animated collection.

    I would buy a non attendee set of TFA same for G1, as for G1 and the season 3.5 hint makes me wonder if its going to be a set of redos of headmasters and targetmasters from Rebirth. Time shall tell the truth.

    Don't quote me but I think they sell sets to non attendees. I also believe that they do have con exclusives that are only available to attendees.

    If it's an Animated themed set and by some miracle they included that Marauder Megatron mold, then I would be interested.
