Well it was in Cincinnati in 2008 so that would count as Midwest. I would imagine the next non movie year, unless they find someplace really cool to have it like Disney this year, it would be a Midwest con.

You know I would love for texas convention again the last one we had here was over 5 years ago. The last joe convention was 3 years ago. MaN just not feeling the love.

Its about time they announce it a year ahead of time, I would have been able to go this year if they announced it at last years Botcon.
I just email Pete about this. This is ridiculous. They were just in California last year. I urge everyone that is mad about this crap to email them and complain. When they took over Botcon from OTFCC the first place they went was Texas and they haven't look back and now they go to California AGAIN!!!
Damn, despite me being on the East Coast (PA) Botcon this year was still too much for me to swing the flight and hotel costs (since I also couldnt get anyone to room with) I was hoping for something alittle more north, not ever FARTHER away. Oh well, have fun next year fellas, perhaps 2012 will be my first botcon.
I'm gonna cash in my vaca time and use it towards BC,and work my ass off to get enough money for the flights and hotel room,cause after missing this year.....no way am I gonna miss next.
I'm from Michigan, and I've been going every year since 2005. I'm not upset that's it's in Pasadena again. My friends and I had a GREAT time there and we are already looking forward to doing it again.
