I thought it was hilarious. God forbid anything the least bit critical make front page at any fandom site. The whole deal with TFSource and the Shadow Scyther incident SHOULD have been frontpaged here, but never was. I'm glad they at least said something about MM, and it's not even like they were overly negative about it.

i may keep a SG galvatron and AMTC as the AM deco on Thundercracker is his SG deco so i may start a SG collection, getting other figures may be the biggest mistake of my life but Heatwave is still on the club store for now and so on. I wonder if G2 Ramjet will be repurposed as SG Ramjet?

 

Okay, so I Googled and found the webpage for Seibertron's Twitter.
The guy doesn't make any petty or rude comments at all. He's actually really polite and complimentary of DJW's work. He even comes out and says multiple times that it's just his opinion, that everyone has one, and that you can't please everybody all the time.

Why get defensive and call him petty?

 

I would be fine with at show reveals, but considering we already are pretty sure our rumor list is right... I don't know how they can prevent china leaks. Might be able to get fansites to not post them, but the leaks will come.

 

I think some of the more aggressive tweets were deleted. I know some went missing during that whole back and forth, but I didn't follow it all that closely. Regardless, it's over and done with for the most part. I like the set, other people like the set, some other people don't like the set, and the world's going to keep on spinning and a lot of fun is going to be had at Botcon whether the set is unanimously loved or not.

Said that the tweets showed that the image on the front page was not done in a sarcastic manner. And the image itself was petty. And it is...

But hey, no worries...

 

I've said in the past that I think FP should just give up on being able to keep surprises, specifically because they will never be able to control "security in China." But since there weren't as many leaks (at least, not full images) last year, I've little doubt that FP feels that they can keep their current policy for that much longer.

Ahh, well. Frankly, if they can keep things a surprise the rest of the way through the convention, I don't want to begrudge them that. I just think it's a losing battle.
