Ahh, got Prime's alt mode in the other thread.

Goldbug looks slick, but was he going to be previewed recently? Man, FP's not gonna be happy.

After being a little disappointed about Prime's alt mode, this is amazing. So far, it looks like a good mold with a great color scheme. Luckily, large faction symbols and phrases doesn't appear to be a theme. I'll cautiously say this looks like a winner.

It does indeed look great, especially the head sculpt....just a little more than puzzled on the mold choice...Classics BB would have been a much better choice IMO.

I would have prefered a more cartoonlike head than the toy head, but I still really like this guy and can't wait to get him. Thanks for the pics.

It looks really nice..........except for the head.....is it supposed to be blue? I was expecting it to be yellow...like comic book Goldbug...or black like in the cartoon.....just seems out of place on an otherwise real nice redeco

Okay, that looks GREAT. I love the new head, and the distribution of the black and gold. It walks a nice line between looking like Goldbug and still looking evil.

    Sweeeet.

And, uhm, as for the blue head.... Goldbug's head IS blue! At least the toy's is. I'd be disappointed if it were any OTHER color.

Classics Bumblebee would have been a better choice.

Why? It's the same color as his original toy's head, and his cartoon appearance.

I assume you'd have preferred a gold head (in keeping with his comic appearance), which I can certainly understand (being a comic-biased-person myself). But I'd hardly call this "fail," unless there's something you're looking for that I'm just not thinking of.

(EDIT: Someone suggested the cartoon head is black. I don't think so. Not according to the picture here, anyway. It's just dark.).
