I got a handful of these for my daughter and she really likes them.

We got Say Cheese but one problem is the feet don't stay attached on the ball joints well at all, so when we try to pull the legs down the feet just come off. Have to get a pencil or something to then push the leg bar down and out, and hold it while re-attaching the foot (otherwise pushing the foot on just pushes the entire leg back up and in). Is this a common issue with that guy or did we get a dud?

Other than that they are pretty fun.

My S A Cheese is fine, the joint is tight enough that rotating the foot is more likely to rotate the actual stalk it comes off of than at the actual joint (the rounded mushroom peg eases my concerns). I don't know how keen you are on adjusting toy tolerances (with super glue, floor polish, etc.), but you may have to do so if you don't want to deal with reattaching the feet, which from the sound of it sounds like a major pain.

Yeah I'll have to do the old Future trick, it is a real pain. Just curious if anyone else had the same issue, mine is definitely nothing like yours! Maybe I'll try to track down another one.

Daughter saw the checklist included in the multi-pack I got her and already started checking them off. Her next choice is Waddlepop. Good thing in an abundance of caution I already collected a full set, so I can dole them out whenever and not have to worry about not having the one she wants next. Yes she is super spoiled! But lucky for her, her Dad has that "better get this while I can actually find it" collector mentality. :lol  Following the "bare minimum" guide I think we'll end up with 3 Waddlepops...

The budget cuts really hit hard when they have to feed Trypticon animated real-life Earth objects. Sorry bud, no more Titan Master Crunch!

I apologize in advance for the long post, but this is my last one in this series. Enjoy!

And now for the conclusion of the Origin of the BotBots:

Pucksie: Alright guys, let’s blow this joint. It’s getting too hot for my taste. Whew, I need a nap. Somebody wake me up when we get wherever we’re going.

Dude: You got it Lil’ P! Ok Radd, you heard the little guy, transform this Lug so we can go check out Cybertron and meet these Autobots.
Spuds: Hopefully they’re cooler than those Deceptipunks.
Radd: Ok guys, here goes. Hopefully it’s cooler on Cybertron. Why am I so sweaty?

Scrubs: Fall in everyone! Final checks please!
Suds: Aye, me hearties! ‘Tis adventure we be seeking. Is the crew aboard? Nobeeoh, how looks the starboard side?

NBO: Hyai, Sensei Suds! All present and accounted for. Even with Fottle Barts next to me, I can smell every one of our friends. And I have Bonz-Eye secretly keeping watch.

    Bonz: I’m not here.
Laceface: Um, I can see you standing right next to me.
Bonz: SHUT IT! I’m supposed to be secretly watching. You’re ruining it, man!

SD: Aw, Shred J, man, this is gonna rock!
Shred: Can’t wait, dude. Hey, Goob, you get any channels in space?
Goob Toob: You know, it’s my first time too right. I’ll let you know if I’m compatible with any of the space junk to get a good signal.

SD: We’re all set down here, Ninjabeeoh! Let’s kick it!
NBO: Ready for takeoff, Sensei Suds!
Suds: Aye, matey! Ms. Take, how we be set on the port side, lass?

MT: Oohh, it’s a little cramped, Captain. Remorsel, get those two down from there.

REM: Snippy, Frosty, you two get back now. You’ll fall off into the void.
Snips: Relax, D.C.! I move too fast to fall off. This is great!
Frosty: And I do have wings, Remorsel. Besides, us littler guys gotta stick together.
    328C88CC-F83C-4AE5-A597-3112F6E856CC.jpeg
REM: I think we’re about as ready as we’ll ever be, Ms. Take.
MT: Port side ready for takeoff, Captain!

Unilla: All clear, my good Captain! Cocoa Crazy and Poo Sham are my lookouts and Lolly Licks and NrJeez are manning the guns.
    L & N: YEEEE - HAAWWW!!!!
Suds: Aye, icy lassie! All checks completed, Sgt. Scrub-a-Dub!
Scrubs: Excellent! Any last words anyone before takeoff?

Kid Klobber: No sweat, guys! Me and Chilla are all set to drive this Lug. You all just hang back and enjoy the ride.
Chilla: Can someone remind me how to get down from here?

Spuds: I am so pumped for this! Let’s go!
Dude: Hey, Pointy, what are you worried about? It’s smooth sailing from here, my friend.
PD: Oh, I don’t know. Fear of the unknown, the hidden dangers ahead, Cranks trying to sharpen me into nonexistence.
    Dude: Yeah, so what?

Scrubs: Ok, BotBots! It’s time to experience life beyond the food court. We’ll get thru it if we just stick together.
Fottle Barts: I have one last thing to say, please.
Scrubs: Well get it out, Barts!

I was looking at these pictures and I realised "No Suds Beard"

So which one of the sets has Sudsbeard in ?

As this image implies he's a hidden from in the packet so I need to know which one to buy to get him.

Also did I dream it or is it only 2 8 pack you need to buy to get the 3 exclusive characters or is it actually 1 per packet ?

So if Sudsbeard is hidden - is he also packed in with either Duderoni or Cuddletooth ? or is he in a 3rd set ?

Also I really don't remember seeing much of the wood chipper or the water bottle - so are those ones in the 5 packs too ?

Oh that is weird - I was hearing that It was just the two exclusives in the 8 pack but one of the sites was saying Sudsbeard was was in an 8 pack - I guess I missread the page.

I had it in my mind that I only needed to buy two 8 packs that was why I was so confused.

Has anyone tried Rescue Bots playsets with Bot Bots ?

I keep buying more and more of these guys than I originally intended to. I am just having way too much fun with them.

Optimus Primal in The Invasion Of The BotBots

But the one thing that irritates me is when I find the singles and some of the packs have been opened and the figures stolen. Happened to me twice. At the local Walmart, I thought I found Nobeeoh only to find that bubble had been cracked open. Then just last night, I found a smaller town Walmart that had five leftover singles from Christmas marked down to $2.00 each but three of the packs had been opened and the BotBot stolen. The two they had left was Venus Frogtrap and Nobeeoh! I was happy to find the latter but it was bittersweet seeing someone was too much of an ass to pay $2.00 each and had to jack them.

Yeah the packaging is ludicrously shoplifter friendly - it even brags on the promotional blurb about how easy they are to open.

At the risk of being a pest again... Here is a questions perhaps someone can answer.

If I buy each 5 pack and each 8 pack with a unique figure in it. and I buy the specific singles with unique figures.

How many is left unbought ? and can I get those figures more efficiently as singles or as part of other 5 or 8 packs ?

People often seem to focus on the unique ones - but I just realised "Is there left overs" I need to buy when i've got those unique packs.. surely there must be ?

So anyone got any feelings on best to approach them.

    -----------

Also I wonder if we will get any better info 'bout those colour change ones soon - (other than an Australian listing)

Buy a Mix of the 5 and 8 packs, anything left are from the single packs. Not sure if you'll have to buy all of the multi-packs but they do come with a few of the singles so you wouldn't have to buy all of the singles.

There are 24 singles in the case and 20 or so are unique. So you'll need to buy lots of singles to get a set.

Also, there are several multipacks that only have one unique one in them but all the rest in the pack are duplicates to some other pack that also has one unique figure.
