I'm very excited we're finally getting Botbots again!
Hopefully these get stocked at Target again and aren't only available by the case.

 

For me, until the bios say otherwise, the pets are all toys/statuary/stuffed animals. Other than fish and some small birds I haven't seen any animals sold in a pet store in years.

 

The fun thing is we possibly haven't seen it all, they say there are 75 figures in the new set.

I'm still waiting for Spud Muffin to be repainted as a container of french toast sticks.

 

So who has watched the series? ur thoughts?
I think its an ok kids show. A little bothered that the cartoon designs and figure designs are so different for some characters. Other than that, its not great but not horrible

So idk about anyone else but I preordered one of each set and then a second of the mystery rally pack. I figure that its a win win, if there are more characters not seen yet then I get a better chance of getting them, worse case I get trade fodder to help me get some from other series.

I won't lie, I really dislike the new series 6. I feel that it's gotten rid of the charm that Botbots used to have.

 

I agree and understand what u mean. Some of the new figures still have that "charm" but others seem to have lost that touch. not sure if its the design, or characters facial expressions or what.

 

Honestly, the facial expressions aren't too bad. It's the Pet Mob that's the worst part for me. The animal forms are fine, but the transformed modes are just so weird for me. I really preferred the old series 6.

I doubt it, it looks like that press release has old info (It says they're all exclusive to Amazon). Plus every assortment has the right number of figures pictured (and even includes duplicates, so you know that's not the issue). 60 is typical for a Botbots wave, anyways. I think the lower number of duplicates is because either A. They've reduced the number of 5-packs and 8-packs in a case to 4 as opposed to 8 OR B. Every 5-pack and 8-pack is 2 per case.

Actually petsmart still sells cats, and from time to time the aspca does a dog adoption on site for rescues.

(I was an ACO back in the day, so I still check in when they do the events - nice to see animals still getting adopted to good homes)

The show revealed the name of some of the toys from Series 6!

The ant farm is likely Aunty Farmwell, although she has a different color scheme in the show.


The Old Cool redeco who has an oil slick-ed version in S6 is Steer'd Wrong, a racing game arcade cabinet.

The wireless computer mouse is Chitter Click. Love that he gained his targeting skills from playing FPS games...   (no auto-aiming there, fellas!)


There is a fake(?) vomit on the show called Vomit Comet, but he looks nothing like the weird little green man alien toy in S6... maybe a redeco down the line.
