Ok so I’m officially nuts for BotBots. My local Target is finally doing their reset and putting out new stuff, little by little bit it’s starting to show up. They had a single peg full of the 8 packs. Haven’t seen these particular little guys reviewed yet, but have heard the excitement in reviewers’ voices wanting them. I got the Greaser Gang 8-pk.


These these little guys are just too freaking cute and colorful. So simple an idea yet so innovative for Hasbro, they’re even a hit with the middle aged crowd. Not ashamed to admit it, even the older generation needs to find happiness where they can, and dammit I love Transformers which now include BotBots! Plus these little guys could be something to share with my kids if they’re interested.

So from left to right we have Stinkeye Stapleton (who was the blind figure in this pack), Frohawk, Hawt Diggity, Arctic Guzzlerush, Duderoni, Lolly Licks, Cuddletooth, and Screen Fiend. And I love them all!

Stinkeye just looks grumpy because nothing is going right which I can relate to. Frohawk seems very frustrated that her lid won’t cover her face in alt mode. Hawt Diggity is just strutting her stuff. Arctic Guzzlerush just seems so peppy.

Duderoni looks like the big cheese cuz he is. Lolly Licks is adorable in name and look. Cuddletooth looks like she needs a hug. And Screen Fiend looks like he needs to switch to decaf. Can’t wait to get more of these guys. A lot of fun to be had.

 

Has anyone found the dpci number for the 8 packs? I saw an empty peg at Target so it looks like they are ready to put them out but I can't find the number via multiple google searches.

 

I'm only 2 away from completing series 1!

 

i'm thinking at this point i should just pick up the last botbots i need and go all in

11 more to go....i have all the ones i really wanted but i've found gems in ones i was iffy on....kinda think i need to pick up the last few...just gotta see where they all are to minimize doubles.

 

Can anyone confirm the blindbox ID numbers for Slobber Rock and Venus Frogtrap that they've bought? Just came from Target and picked up 5 of the ones I wanted, except the package marked #16 (supposed to be Slobber Rock) contained VFtrap (listed as #14 on several different websites). I want to try to buy another #16 but don't wanna get stuck with another dupe. =/

Has anyone found any other packaging errors like that?

Everytime I see Screenfiend's robot mode I keep thinking he turns into a taser.

Yep, definitely need that Greaser Gang 8-Pack. So many winners for the price.

 

Haven't found any of the multi-packs yet, but my three faves so far.

Edit: Historians have been able to uncover very little about the ancient totems. Where did they come from? Where did they go? According to many ancient astronaut theorists, it was Cotton Eye Joe.
