Just managed to get the 5 pack with cuddle wuddle and quackles yesterday at a good price, and for the beastbox figures there are mote than those two catalogue photos, including an alien queen

And I now wonder if I could give Lego weapons to Botbots. That sword that Bonz-Eye uses seems a lot like a lego sword.

I give you advice on the Arcade Renegades and this is how you repay me?! By tempting me to the extreme with another line I absolutely do not need right now?!? And is like one letter away from my internet name?!? (How did I not know about these...?)

Maybe later in the year. Still gotta bit of debt to pay off from that EXTREME TF product surge the last third or so of last year.

Your advice on the Arcade Renegades paid off perfectly, too. I got packs numbered 1 and 2, a complete set of the sixteen Arcade Renegades and two of the last four Botbots I was still missing from series one! I dunno why I put off getting those for so long, I guess I wasn’t optimistic about my chances. Hell of a value even at full price, a steal at half off.

 

It looks trollish, but that's an unfortunate side-effect of the main page articles using (however rightly) the "main" discussion threads of any given topic for comments. It attracts "outside" commentary, sotospeak.

My main point, though, was that I/ some other TF fans don't know the "original" video.

I can’t wrap my head around someone being snobbish in multiple threads because we like pretty much all of the same children’s playthings, but there’s this one extra children’s plaything you don’t like and so you want to keep telling us? Shrug?

Hasbro seem to be suggesting there is a cross branding potential - all be they are not being entirely serious about this - and it likely would make more sense with Cyberverse toys since that show is dafter.

 

Well, between Transformers and the occasional 3rd party "Meant-to-be-a-Transformer" toy, I don't really have the money to outright collect anything else, since I'm a completist in most domestic TF lines (or at least 99% of one-- slight variants I usually ignore, along with Rescue Bot redecos). So I pay zero attention to other toylines because I can't afford to really go down other rabbit holes. I think the last non-Transformer toy I bought that wasn't a gift for someone else was, like... X-Men: Evolution Toad and Nightcrawler back in 2001. Speaking of which, Toad from that series (who I still think is one of the awesomest characters of all time) was my avatar for quite a long time, I only finally dropped him a few years ago after I realized the character in my avatar was now, like, less than half my age, might give someone that wrong impression about me. Looking at the various Beastbox my favorite by a hair is that white gorilla that kinda is colored like High Score (Jojobs), but they all look pretty neat. If they ever make a toad/frog one I am in on DAY ONE.

dang I just had a crazy thought...what happens when 3rd Party starts doing botbot style characters...
