Pretty happy with the three sets I got from Amazon. These were my most-wanted Magic and Science sets. Ideally would have preferred the Incog-egg-o Home Rangers set, but this is a solid second choice for me.

I’m pleasantly surprised by a number of the wave 4 bots so far.

Zanzibar doesn’t look like much in pics, but in hand he’s a great little oddball.



Eye-gon has a great expression, more involved transformation than it first appears, and is really showing off what a guy with a cannon for a chest can do.



Grandma Crinkles is clearly Krang’s grams.



Mr. Business Esquire is charmingly retro.



Others have been stand-outs from the moment we first saw them. Genius concepts and phenomenal execution.

Flaskenstein just oozes character.



Loving the hero pose on Whoopsie.



And Mumbo has been my favorite from day 1.

 

Crinkles' arms can come out further, BTW-- they're on sliders, just pull.

Dr. Flaskenstein is definitely my favorite out of the 20-ish I have so far. Just an ingenious design, only issue is I wish his alt mode pegged together.

You're right it won't, but now it will be obvious. The issue with the bubbles in Series 1 & 2 was that a person could easily lift up the flap, take it, and put the flap down and it still looked like the pack had something in it. Now they can't do that.

Now this is interesting, because their listing for Wave 5 actually has Wave 4 teams, while their Wave 4 case which I have ordered has listings for unknown teams. Two possible outcomes, in order of likeliness:
1. They got the Wave descriptions mixed up, and the "Travel" and "Asian Food" teams are the theme for the 8-packs in Series 5.
2. They just got old, outdated info for Wave 4 and that listing will be deleted, and their Wave 5 preorder is for Wave 4. Nothing more to it than that.

 

Anyone else notice that ebay listing has really high shipping costs? Pity to whoever gets that and has to pay $50+ on shipping.

 

Nah, that's absolutely a big error on their part - something we weren't supposed to know about yet. Nice find.

EDIT: I'll have to wait for the blind bubble and 6-pack breakdown, but things are shaping up where the rarity stars might actually be accurate this time:

Which is actually a relief if you don't care about the gold Botbots, as this means everything else is in at least 2 packs.
Though this will also make getting the case of singles much less appealing...
