Just got Wizengreen in the mail. Adorbs. He and the other seasons greeters will make their way into our families christmas town that we set up.

 

Dunno if this is new news, but Entertainment Earth have whole cases of wave 3 five- and eight-packs up for preorder.

 

For those of you who have him, how is Smooth Shaker? Does he have the same problem as Dizzy Bones?

 

If walmart isn't selling these anymore, I guess I'm done.

Note that it says Dec 31, and $20 for each pack, but I'm sure thats just a placeholder and will probably change in a matter of weeks.

 

If your sister can get to 大明玩具(合川) Dàmíng (héchuān) in Zhonghe, I saw the Bakery Bytes there about a week ago. They were available at a big promotional sale they had in the middle of June, and seems like they have some left overs.

Okay bit of an odd thought that's been running through my head since Siege Unicron is a hot topic these days, but what would the Botbot equivalent be.........and it hit me a return department/kiosk. Just have something that would be the equivalent of an entire store/stall that turned into a big ass bot. As a little feature tiny little return to manufacturer cells to put poor "defective" botbots in. It's main weapon would be a giant grabber claw at the end of a giant chain that it just tosses and grabs Botbots with.

bbts.com finally put up wave 3 preorders in sets of 2 or one case of the singles

yay I finally got in my amazon wave 3 packs...two each of the googoo/fresh...at least I didn't get doubles of the same pack, so that's a good start

if Target doesn't start putting these out so I can pick them out in person I may have to spin the roulette wheel again and take a chance on what I get from Amazon

and I got a lucky 6 arcades pack from them too, so at least I'm done on that front (I also got packs 1 & 4, which didn't have the last one I was looking for...that sort of figures, given my luck)...

 

I wonder why they just now put up series 2 stuff? I woulda ordered from them in a heartbeat with how long it took for them to show up on retail in my city, not to mention with how quickly the pre orders sold out for series 1. Glad to see series 3 is being up in a timely fashion though. Now the choice, do I risk waiting to see if they show up in retail with all the stories I've been reading where peopels wal marts say they're not carrying them again, or do I bite from amazon or bbts? I guess with the two teams of 5 packs each having four different sets, if you got two from bbts maybe you'd be less likely to get two of the same? Idk.

 

Should we be worried that Walmart doesn’t carry Botbots after their recent reset (unless they get put in the future)?

 

maybe they didn't think people would have much interest in them or maybe Hasbro didn't let them order (sort of like how EEarth didn't put up some assortments until recently)...it is weird...

I think a case has 8 packs, so odds are low (but not impossible) you'd get two of the same...returns are probably easier with amazon (as kohls recently is accepting them in person, which is what I'm going to do with the extra arcades sets)...

 

I'm a little concerned but if I remember right, I believe Wal-Mart does one more reset ahead of Christmas so I'm hoping they might return one day. Not uncommon for Wal-Mart to stop carrying a line only for it to return after a later reset. But it does kind of stink not having a local option to get them.


I saw the BBTS pre-orders up. I'm tempted to get the wave 3 blind pack case but I wish the pre-orders for the multipacks were not as random for instance instead of offering 2 random packs from the entire case, offer pre-orders based on 2 random packs from Goo Goo Groupies or Fresh Squeezes.

 

Picked up a bunch today. My faves so far are:

Rubber duck - very cute in both modes
Pineapple - just awesome
Sippy cup dog - first one i opened and i just laughed my ass off. Beyond cute. It just makes me smile so much.

 

Would have gotten the Spoiled Rotten Centric 8 Pack at Target......if I didn’t get Reflector (or Refraktor, X3) and have Skywarp Pre ordered......

Thanks for the info. She left already but I am going to check if I can find them in mainland. Taobao has had characters from the five packs up forever so I may be able to just buy the last two that way.

 

hm, based on the four 8 packs I got from Amazon.com I still would need at least three more 8packs ordering blindly, in addition to a couple 5 packs whenever they go up to get all the uniques...or wait and hope to get a better mix in the near future by reordering...

so in the meantime these nutty things are sitting, tempting me to open them and commit...not sure when/if Target will be putting out the wave 3 packs...even if I know they are turning up elsewhere there are too many on the pegs right now that need to be cleared out...

at least returns to amazon are pretty painless
