I think the only Botbot who would fit in with BW would be Quackles because of Megatron's rubber duck.

And if it's an Amazon Exclusive you can't shotgun a case... won't be totally random though, that'd mean too many instruction sheets unless they put everybody on one.

I think I'm going to buy 2 since there's a young girl I know who will love all the extras. Can't justify purposely buying 3 of a pack that will be at least 8 of the same in every pack, myself. Hopefully I'll get 2 that will cover at least 6 of the blind-balled 8 Renegades so I'll only have to trade for a few.

This is definitely a low blow. I mean, 16 Arcade Renegades in a 16-pack, how friggin' hard was that? Like, if all Botbots were like this, I don't think I'd bother.

 

Had I known when I was deciding to get in what I know now, I probably woulda skipped BB's... and probably woulda stayed away from the Jurassic relaunch too.

Working at Costco, I noticed one of the new trends we carry is the demand for charcoal infused products, I noticed we have charcoal toothpaste, charcoal infused tooth brushes, and even charcoal deodorant.......I think that might be what that grey Nobeoh mold is.

 

ARGH! Oh course! Guess I'm buying six of these packs just to be on the safe side and I'll return any unopened ones when I got the whole collection. ...Or maybe twelve? This sucks. Who thought this was a good idea?

 

Gosh, 6 unique packs? That’s worse than I ever expected for the Arcade Renegades. At least all 8 of the new molds are guaranteed for each pack. The only redecos I really want are Sheriff Sugarfeet for his cool sunglasses and Wrist Banned because I’m a big fan of that mold. Everyone else I could take or leave.

 

Hasbro and Amazon, bcaus forcing you to buy more = more sales dollars for them. They don't care if you throw things in the garbage afterward, as long as they have your money and don't have to give it back.

 

Even if you buy six, you're buying them from Amazon, so you aren't necessary going to get 1 each of the 6 different packs. Theoretically you could get 6 of the exact same pack (though I find that highly unlikely as well, of course).

 

Yeah I know. But I have to assume they pull them out of the cases directly, in which case my chances are higher the more I order. If they just put everything into a pile and pick randomly, I'm pretty hosed then. If I knew how many in total there was to collect or if the other 4 bots in this pack are just repacks of upcoming series 3 characters, then I'd be fine. But since I don't, maybe I'll just order 12 of them to play it safe and return any left over after I have completed the set.

 

That's true. That said, I wouldn't go too overboard. For myself, I'm going for 2. That way A. I will only have doubles of something at most and B. I will have exactly 8 of the "blind-balled" Arcade Renegades, so for any doubles of those I can hopefully do a 1-to-1 trade to get all 8. Unless, that is, it turns out they've pulled an even slimier move by making the blind-balled ones of different rarities, where like some are only in 1 of the 6 packs and others are in, like, 4 or 5 of them.

Really it's not much of a hassle for me to get so many. Plus I really don't mind doubles (or in the case of some that I own, quadruples) and if I get all of them, I can return the unopened ones no problem. But thanks for the advice regardless. I'm just nuts.
