Boss Fight Studio's (toy designers who've worked on GI JOE and Transformers) Kickstarter for their Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Action Figures is live.

The Greek Mythology theme of this first assortment pits 3.75" scale ancient warriors vs. Medusa and her Gorgon sisters. Stretch goals include snake variants, glow-in-the-dark figures, skeletons, "blank" male/female figures for customizing and even King Leonidas if you want him to lead the 300 Spartans (they even have a pledge level for 300 troops!!) If successful, future waves will be fantasy and sci-fi based.

These figures hit of my sweet spots as I'm a fan of GI JOE, Greek Mythology, Marvel's Serpent Society and the Sand Snakes from Game of Thones (daughters of the Red Viper of Dorne) :)

I went in for the spartan and the coral snake for right now and plan on upping my pledge later in the month.
I would up it right now if I didn't have to pledge for all of wave 1 to buy the stretch goals. I am not digging the stone spartan that hard, because I know that of all of wave 1 he will probably be less popular and therefore easier to buy at a later time

This is pretty cool - I actually like the stone spartan a lot. The snake spine whip and headress are cool. Not sure I want all of this enough to pledge, but some neat stuff for sure. Curious what stretch goals might be!

Yeah, I really don't care for that one either, but I do like the other ones.

They met their goal just a little bit ago, time to find out how many stretch goals these guys can reach!

I really wish they weren't packaged. They're supposed to 'made for modders' or w/e so no one going to really keep them in package. Polybagged and cheaper would be preferable I would think. And I don't really like any of their army building options.

They're next set, which apparently has like orcs in it, is much more interesting to me.

Looking at the stretch goals, the pre-curese medusa and underworld soldier are the only ones that really grab me...fortunately, those seem rather attainable. Not sure why so many of the stretch goals are blank figures vs new molds.

I just pledged the $115.00 for the set of four figures, I want to add two more figures but I'm not sure how to do it.

They look cool but $35 for a 4" figure is steep

Agreed. Heck, even if I saw these for $15 at TRU they'd still be a maybe for me.

Amazon Warrior is the one I'm most interested in but apparently I have to buy all of wave 1 (4 figures) just to get access to buying it? That's lame.

The way to do it is to choose the $115 reward level, but put in the amount of money you would need to cover the $115 reward along with the two figures. For instance if you wanted two amazons with your 4 figures, you would pledge $165. If you wanted two of the blanks to go with your reward, you would pledge $145. The easiest way to figure out what you need to pledge is with their Fundafull pledge calculator, which can be found here:

    https://www.fundafull.com/projects/...uvian-hacks-action-figures/pledge-calculator/

Once the Kickstarter is over, they send you an invitation to fundafull and you choose your items at that time based on the amount you pledged.

I am in for the All In pledge level, with what has been unlocked so far, it's $500 for $800 worth of items. If they get all the way through the Stretch goals it gets up to $880 worth of items. Since I plan to get one of everything eventually it seems like the way to go! Here's a collage that Haradrel over on the HISSTANK forums put together to show what all is included in the "All In" package:

Glad I could help! Looks like they are almost to the point of unlocking the skeletons as well!

I would really like a small skeletons army. That would be awesome.

The 10 pack army builder of Skeletons is supposed to be $120 once they get it unlocked. I think they already added it to the fundafull calculator.

You guys are right these are a little pricey. I could just get some Marvel Legends instead at retail and that's if I find the one I'm looking for.

I just saw that. So tempting, I need to sell some more stuff first, do you think I can purchase this after friday? I'm a newbie to the Kickstarter stuff, this is the first one I'm pledging on.
