I liked the size.

 

Looks insane - the way the giant head just pops out of the cab is unbelievable. He must have that giant face on his back, though. I'm having trouble believing the face isn't an add-on.

No way the SS one comes anywhere close to this.

 

Don’t forget that hasbro already made an awesome mixmaster, way back in 2009. Sure he didn’t combine but just saying that I wouldn’t count them out at all.

 

Judging by the constructicons already release they ain’t touching this lol

 

I'm assuming 50cm is for the whole combined figure

 

And true, Mixmaster Voyager ROTF 2009, even if it is not a "combiner", for me it remains one of the best masterpieces of the ROTF 2009 line!

 

It's a triple changer with three very different modes and they left the hardest mode out completely, so that's not saying much - but we'll see.

arms still wrong, shoulders should extend out way more, like, half the lengh of the shoulder shields... and then the arm come out from there

 

I was actually thinking a SS would probably look like this. Good but not perfect. The head mode is way too disproportionate, and the robot mode suffers a lot. It's not that impressive when you really look at the intricacy and the proportions.

That said, it's still the best attempt ever, and it's adapting a truly impossible triple-changer. I'll take it.

 

Maybe it's just me, but it almost looks like it's slightly based upon the RotF voyager. I also love that the face seems to come out of the truck cab, just like in the movie.

 

What does that mean? They've all been great so far. Also WAY cheaper than these will be so it makes sense.

You're assuming the head mode is integrated into the figure, which we still don't know. You also seem to be also assuming that the SS one won't have that feature. My guess is neither will.

 

So for his combined mode transformation, he basically explodes.

 

Is that SS or MPM size?

 

I always thought SS MM would be a voyager in a Leader box as it would come with a Devastator head. Not dissimilar to Jetwing Prime or the Leaders in the Siege line.

 

Yeah not sure what they are getting at, all of the Studio Series Constructicons have been great so far.
