You can't say "they've been saying they're working on a Devastator for 2 years" when you don't know for absolute certain this is TFEvo.

All these toys actually are heavy remolds. Scavenger and Overload are remolds of their legend version, Long Haul is a remold of his ROTF version, and Hightower and Rampage are remolds of their SS versions.

As an owner of split, I dont blame him, transformation has such insanely small clearance on Almost 100% of it and requires bending plastic for some maneuvers regardless. Terribly engineered, but it looks cool at least.

If you remold inaccurate toys you will create inaccurate toys. This is the problem here, they aren't accurate at all but this is forgivable because of the combiner mode

 

I actually like that they did their own take on the figures. Some turned out better that others (imo) but it was the same way with the live-action movies; some people really liked the take, others not so much. It's all a matter of preference and opinion
