honestly, rampage is the only one that appears to take engineering ques from the hasbro versions

edit: actually the pinched treads and extended neck on hightower only exist on the studio series figure and dont exist in concept art

Mostly that they said they had been working on them for 2 years and how it’s odd they’d delay showing those bots. Other than that, they obviously have not admitted to this, which is to be expected.

No, they have not said they've been working on them for two years. You're assuming that this is still TFEvo.

You can't say "they've been saying they're working on a Devastator for 2 years" when you don't know for absolute certain this is TFEvo.

This shit is how rumors get started.

No I’m using the information they themselves posted at the start, which is that they had their figures done before the SS was revealed and that it was a few years.

However, Looking back I saw you arguing the same points against anyone who mentioned TFEvo on day 1, so clearly no changing your mind, but let’s just say it’s extremely likely even if you can’t fathom it. Your determination to defend some random company from this theory grows tiresome.

Here's the difference. I'm not *defending* anyone. What I *am* doing is avoiding spreading misinformation without concrete, factual evidence.

"Extremely likely" isn't 100% guaranteed, which is always what I've said from the beginning.

And, it works both ways. Your penchant for making these assumptions without actual evidence and spreading it like it's fact is equally tiresome.

Sorry, but you can compare Split with any of the UT's Magicformers...

Was waiting for an Emgo or BSF video of Split, but guess we're not gonna get one...

I like the design, but I'm affraid I might never transform it... Optimus Maxmas is still standing here untransformed too, and that one looks easy compared to Split :')

The model of Devastator clearly includes Scrapmetal's kibble, we can see his threads

All these toys actually are heavy remolds. Scavenger and Overload are remolds of their legend version, Long Haul is a remold of his ROTF version, and Hightower and Rampage are remolds of their SS versions.

Hmm? It's a fact though. The less modes you have to account for, the better they look.

As an owner of split, I dont blame him, transformation has such insanely small clearance on Almost 100% of it and requires bending plastic for some maneuvers regardless. Terribly engineered, but it looks cool at least.

If you remold inaccurate toys you will create inaccurate toys. This is the problem here, they aren't accurate at all but this is forgivable because of the combiner mode

I actually like that they did their own take on the figures. Some turned out better that others (imo) but it was the same way with the live-action movies; some people really liked the take, others not so much. It's all a matter of preference and opinion :)
