Thank you for the pic! Height is not a problem as there are many cheap solutions to raise the glass bases of the Detolf. But there is not much I can do about width, and it looks like he would be just too wide with his arms. Thanks anyway!

 

Reminds me a bit of the old RotF Devy, with how big Mixmaster had to be to form the head correctly.

Eh, Rampage or Skipjack, whatever his name is, I just think the bulldozer Constructicon with a beedrill for legs looks a lot better in yellow than red.

Ideally though, Devastator should have been more colorful from the get-go. He has way too much red on him. Red body, red upper arms, red waist/hips, red face. I personally think his body and upper arms should have been white like Demolishor. That way, Devastator wouldn't have been a mass of red mechanical bits that just overwhelms everything else on him. NOw that there isn't so much red on him anymore, his hips could stay red, and Rampage/Skipjack could have stayed red instead of yellow as well to form his left leg. His face also should have been grey/silver instead of red to match Mixmaster's color scheme.

 

It seems people are misunderstanding my initial comment.

I'm not confused of which bulldozer Constructicon is which, or saying which should be named which. I'm well aware that Rampage is red and Skipjack is yellow. I'm saying there shouldn't have been two different colored bots of the same type in the first place and that Rampage, the red one who fought Bumblebee, should have been given a yellow color scheme because I think it looks way better aesthetically. That's literally all I'm saying. This has nothing to do with misnaming them.

 

At this point, Rampage and Skipjack are the new Rumble and Frenzy. But I agree, the yellow coloration does seem to fit the figure a bit better than the red.

Thank you. That's literally all I wanted to talk about but it somehow broke out into another RIR;SIY debate lol.

But yeah Rampage looks so much better in yellow. The red just looks too messy and dull imo. The yellow really helps him contrast more and make him appear cleaner and more well-defined.

Yellow rampage indeed looks impressive! Might actually be the only one I'll consider purchasing in duplo to have him displayed as both Devy's leg and his alien like, ready to sack race robot form! ☺️

 

Ah yeah I did misunderstand what you meant, and I agree that Skipjack does look better than Rampage.

 

Funny since lots of fans still think devastator should have been entirely green and purple cause G1. Also, rampage is red cause having him fight bumblebee (two yellow boys on tan backgrounds) would have been even more confusing than it already was. I think it’s actually one of the hardest to follow fight scenes and really poorly shot. Had so much potential to be awesome though. I love Rampage’s weird-ass bot mode so much.

Fucking love it! So excited for this one.

Im hoping though that someone can make an attachment for the end of the tail to make it longer and more pointy. Only flaw I can see with the figure from pics. I have the same issue with the SS one too. Tail could be pointier and longer.

 

This is one of those combiner's I don't plan on buying, but I am very much enjoying seeing pictures of. Those of you buying the whole set better post more pictures
