To answer your question, I'm pretty sure those are screw covers, but without seeing the instructions I don't know where they're meant to insert.

I'm also guessing they're screw covers, but as i said, the instructions don't show them. They are not shown at the top of the page with all the other accessories and they are not shown being installed. (those 2 shown in the pic " ds-08 accessory" are larger and have been installed. These 2 small ones are left over)

 

So just so I understand these latest rumoured updates; DS-06 Sweeping will be out next - and very soon for that matter?? And lastly DS-05 will be out by end of the year - can someone confirm or correct this please?

 

Unpopular opinion but I think Rampage looks so much better in yellow than red. I get why they made him red in the movie (because Bumblebee is yellow and they needed Rampage to stand out so people wouldn't see two mechanical yellow masses going at each other) but after seeing that image of Sweeping I think it really confirmed to me that Rampage looks a hell of a lot better with a yellow color scheme.

 

I suggest getting a display cabinet with adjustable shelves. Ikea offered a solution for me (Devy section 50 cm height):

 

Unless you get some brackets to readjust the height of the shelves, you won’t be able to display him in combined mode in a detolf. The arms, not sure if evan posing him in a Frankenstein/ zombie walking pose would fit. He’s just to big. I was only able to display 3 of them in alt modes on a shelf.

 

as far as I can tell, the grey ones are meant to cover the screws on Bomber's treads, and the red one is meant for the combine mode elbow joint. you say it came with more than just those?

 

Yes. It came with 5 small round bits. 2 larger grey ones that go into bomber's treads, a yellow/red one that goes into the combiner elbow, and 2 smaller grey ones that are left over and not mentioned in the instructions.

Quick Pro Tip: Any Funko Pop Box that you own seems to be the perfect height to work as the "other foot", just so you dont have to stack different amount of Blu Ray boxes  

 

Dunno if that’s such an unpopular opinion. Also, yellow is skipjack, not yellow rampage. In the film rampage was killed before devastator even formed (or maybe after but they were still combined) so it’s not him. I personally like both rampage and skipjack equally, but rampage seems more menacing to me so I usually default to that. Especially since I’m not currently planning on completing this set (although that video showing how stable the combined mode is has really pushed me towards wanting them all).

 

Nevermind, just found one, courtesy of TF-Direct. They look so good together, hoping to get them second-hand one day.

 

Those 2 small grey ones must cover other screw holes somewhere on DS-07 or DS-08. Even though its undocumented in the instruction book, Devil Saviour wouldn't have included them for nothing. My purchase is getting ready to ship from TFS-Express so when it arrives I'll try and figure out where they go - if someone else hasn't done so by then already.

 

Skipjack is the yellow one, Rampage is the red one. They are two different bots, Skipjack is only seen in vehicle and combined modes in the movie, as he makes up Devastator's left foot. Rampage is the one that had Sam's parents and was killed by Bumblebee. Hope that clears things up for you c:
