Sorry, I forgot I was talking to the comedy writer of the year award winner. If you're gonna have a corny sense of humor then at least don't also be a dick to me.
Maybe because they keep revealing new products with old problems? This is a thread for EIGHT individual figures PLUS a combined mode. If you're sad now about some repeat posts then please give up now.

Been following this thread for months; I swear it gets more toxic every week. Why can't we just be excited that there's a cool 3rd party Devastator set coming out without having to bash it for being overpriced, overengineered, underengineered, inaccurate, or what have you? We've only gotten one figure and already people are condemning the whole set based on a weak first release.

Personally, I only care that they look good and hold together well, and except for a few areas on Split, I'm overall impressed and excited for what's to come. The quality of the paint and plastic are top notch, and the designers seem to really care about delivering a premium product.

Telling us to just be excited for something without having concerns is just a less incendiary way of saying "you have to like the things I like"

It's fine to have concerns, and I have some of my own. But a lot of people here are crossing the line of concerns to straight-up saying that the figures are bad, when we don't have sufficient evidence of that. Even Split, with all of its questionable engineering and joints, I would have a hard time calling an all-around failure of a product.
    Case in point.

I don’t think having the company learn nothing from mistakes and continue on a downward spiral is worthy of letting go.

(This coming from someone who is tired of seeing his rants.)

They've had one release. Where is the downward spiral?

The point is to prevent one.

First release turned out the same, so still going with that.

While I agree toxicity is not good, I disagree with your conclusion on Split. IMO bad engineering can make an otherwise good toy a failure. My example is MPM Optimus. I hated him because his transformation was so frustrating. Then I got LT2 and loved him. It was pretty much the exact same toy, but LT2 fixed almost all the tabbing issues. So the QC issues caused a toy to be on opposite ends of the spectrum for me.

Read his post, he was talking about his own rants. Not yours.

Nah man, just block 'em. That's what I do.

Save your sanity. If they're negative on this thread, they're negative elsewhere.
