So there you have it. It looks more and more likely the Volt is just a cameo.

 

I figured as much since its still in the concept stages.

 

Not surprised. And pleasantly relieved that Soundwave (hopefully) hasn't been turned into some sort of small eco friendly smart car. Considering how different every character looks in Bayformers anyways, SW could every well end up as a neon orange Vespa that turns into a mech-spider, so I'm not keeping my eye out for anything blue as being a telltale hint.

 

That woulda sucked if Soundwave was the Volt. He NEEDS to be something that REALLY stands out...the Volt woulda been just meh for him (now that Hummer would be kinda kick ass)

 

Haven't we already seen the production model? As for it not being Soundwave, I'm glad. Though there is one rumor about what he will turn into, and I'm not a fan of that idea either.

I really hope it isn't true. I'd much rather have a Soundwave that's at least as tall as Prime, if not taller.

First off, I'm thankful hes not a Chevy Volt. Second off if he is an Ipod I will loose all hope in this movie what-so-ever. I was thinking he would be a sound cannon Humvee like the one used in the newest Hulk movie.

 

I was thinking that he is the Ice Cream truck...and play the ice cream music all the time

 

The idea of Soundwave as a tricked-out Scion worked so well in Animated. The concept of a non-military vehicle with a lot of sonic nods and the ability to move around undetected in a civilian environment would fit the charater so nicely.

Too bad the GM exclusivity would prohibit it.

 

I believe the Chevy Volt is an Autobot !! Cause like the first two Chevys and the Corvette ,the volt is hanging around with Prime's group !!

My options( If the Volt is a transformer ) are Bluestreak or Smokescreen !!

I still believe Soundwave could be the SR-71 Blackbird ,right now that's my best guess !!

 

That would totally suck and ruin the badboy tradition of SOUNDWAVE no seriously it really would suck big time. That wouldn't be good for fans.

Just hope they come up with an alt-mode that suits him... like, some sort of a military vehicle with lots of electronics on board?

 

I wonder what Soundwave will be....now I'm curious.

 

No suprise there then, considering the story on Inside Line 6 days ago stating the Volt isn't a Transformer, but is just there to advertise the car - a rather large piece of product placement.

Obviously all rumours / stories about the car are to be taken with a pinch of salt until fully confirmed.
