I searched the resources and only came up with 3 boat TF's. Armada Mirage, ROTF Depthcharge & a g2 something my short term memory has lost. Are there any other boat or watercraft TF's? I'm working on a project and am hoping something's out there in the boat category. Thanks for any help!

Seaspray, Broadside, Tidal Wave and Flattop (if his aircraft carrier/jet fighter transport counts) spring to mind. There was a boat minicon team, and a submarine in one of the Cybertron minicon pack (giant planet pack?).

The G2 boat was called Manta Ray, I think.

The boat Mirage and recolor Dreadwing were actually from Energon, not Armada.

You could potentially consider Energon Sharkticon a sort of boat/submarine thing, maybe.

 

A good place to check this kind of thing is TFU.INFO. You can search by color on the lefthand side, and then narrow that down by alt mode. I do that a lot when trying to think up repaint ideas. Anyway, off the top of my head and with help from that site, the boatformers I can think of (listing those that use the same mold together) are:

1. Armada Tidal Wave/Energon Tidal Wave/Micron Legend Shockwave
2. G1 Broadside
3. G1 Flat-Top
4. G1 Micromaster Seawatch
5. G1 and G2 Seaspray
6. G2 Manta Ray

You could sort of make a case for G1 Scourge being a type of boat, albeit a space boat. I guess he's more like a little rounded Star Destroyer, though.

Thanks all for the help. Now I just wished I owned more of these already.

One I just thought about that's yet to be mentioned is the Micromaster Combiners Powerrun & Strikedown from the Metro Squad. Though that's more of a hovercraft like Seaspray.

I can recommend getting g2 manta ray if you can find a fair price. There are'nt any other double pontoon hydro thunder esq speedboats in transformers.

I can't recall that many boat TFs. Only ROTF Depthcharge and Thunderblast are the ones I remember.. As far as I know, there haven't been many boat/watercraft TFs, and the designs so far are so-so IMO. Depthcharge was close to cool, his legs caused "cool" to become "so-so" (IMO).

SO if you're working on a watercraft TF project, I'd be glad to see how the final stages will look like. If it's a revolutionary design, that'll be awesome! Looking forward to it
