Thanks for this, the head is much needed. I cannot unsee how small the head is now after seeing him with the upgrades. The chest does not look as bulbous as well.

Check out @Catalyst1945 pics too as he has the head chest and crotch pieces. I feel like the head is absolutely necessary for sure.

How durable is the 3D printed plastic? Those upgrades look fantastic, but some of the more intricate bits like the wires on the leg pieces give me pause.

No problem. It’s amazing how much just 10% larger of a head can do for it. The chest isn’t necessary IMO. For challenger it was a huge improvement but not for this one, and reducing the amount of 3D printed parts is good for durability.

Not yet! I might try tonight or tomorrow. It just looks so good in robot mode.

Not terribly durable I’m afraid. And if you’re installing the pieces definitely use a hair dryer to soften them first.

 

Hmm that’s what I thought.   I have his DOTM torso piece for BA Prime, and while it looks terrific, one of the pegs immediately snapped off when I tried to attach it to the figure.

 

I hope someone makes a new bigger head that can deform and compress for transformation.

Man it sucks I can’t transform him. This piece really is a dream come true, from my pipe dreams of a company like bmb understanding challenger needed to be bigger, and even making the sculpt more accurate to boot. Hope to get the new shoulders soon, at least I can gently display him right now like this and not get too crazy. Size it just want I was asking for and the downscaled dragoon looks literally perfect to me. Hell, I’d even say the og dragoon, while inferior in detail and paint from what I saw online, doesn’t even look that out of place next to this new challenger. I will never understand why UT made challenger that small and then dragoon enormous in comparison, but I’m happy that other companies are listening to the community on this forum and know what we want. Now please, give me a oversized ratchet
