LMAO!! Well, I hope the shoulders come in and my LS03 comes in before stuff hits the fan.. I figure we have a good few months to see what pans out next. If it comes to it, maybe nothing happens. Who knows, but inflationary prices will be hitting us in the next few months so that can hurt the hobby. It will necessarily drive up shipping with gas prices being on the rise due to the morons out there making policy and the despots taking advantage of said morons...

Anyhow, I digress. My point isn't political, it is financial.

So why wouldn't you get LS03? I think as an alternative to BA Prime, and LT02 Prime at a bigger scale to better fit the BMB collections of OSKO Bots, the LS03 is a pretty good contender. I think the shiny colors and the cleaned up parts that LT02 doesn't have makes him a good alt for those like me who haven't been able to get BA at the price I would want. He's too expensive.. even if it's still just backstock. The price is way too high for backstock with QC issues. I am sorry, I just don't need BA Prime THAT bad in my collection then. Yes, to date, he is the most accurate. But I am still not able to bring myself to pay more then 120.00 for a Bot that is going for 170-200 shipped and it's inferior to the original releases. I am good with at least getting LS03 before they also are sold out and hard to find.

That's what I am also wondering. LS03 is a good bot overall. Quality reports on it are good, and the paint is top notch. He's 2 mm larger then what I would want, but if you slouch him over in an action pose, he looks almost the same size as BS03.. it doesn't take much. Plus the Peter Built truck is larger then the Western Star, so in my mind, I can justify it's scale.

 

@Shmoptimus Prime and crew just to reiterate that you could and should get LS03, again at least the nemesis version   (I like going back to when I was clueless...I'm fairly clueless still...but that's a step up from absolute clueless  )

The black and purple LS03 does look really good. He’s a bit pricier then LS03 and LS03F. I’d certainly love to see a BS03 Black and Purple Nemesis Prime as well. That would be awesomeness incarnate!!

Still LS03 is a good alt for those who need a bigger MPM04 Prime, and don't want to just settle for LT02..

I like even tho it is only "Lightly modified" the changes they did are nice. Plus there is an upgrade kit for LS03. I wonder also if the Leafage heads or 3rd party LED heads work for LS03? Anyone know?


@VinhLee Did you do any upgrades for LS03? Just checking.. I think really BMB could've redid the backpack to be more like BA's Prime, then it would've been a perfect alternative. But as it stands. I am happy to have BS03 and LS03 (bought today), and LS03F in my collection.

Granted, LS03 is larger, he is still in a good scale with the BMB OS KO of ROTF Megatron.

Certainly as shiny as the LT02 but with transparent windows showing the shields, and looks just as good as LT02..

Although I like my LS03F, his color in hand is just too dark for me to pose next to BS03. I can't wait to get the LS03 in hand. I plan to rewatch TF 1-3 when I get him in, like I did with BS03 from TLK and AOE.


Finally, Although BS03 looks hella Good with BA Prime, I am okay with LS03 being a bit larger. It seems like to me, the TFs from the 1st movies to the 5th, got smaller and more beefier or advanced as they went along. So I think the LS03 option is just as good as the BA one.

 

OK guys this is really off topic at this point, but yes, I wouldn’t get ls03 because I have BA Prime but also cause it’s way too big for anything else I have and also it’s not enough of an improvement.

But anyway how bout that BS03?

 

Nice! When hope started to fade with BA prime i doubled down on OS primes and ended up with too many of them. Lt02, LT02 nemesis, LS03, Ls03 Nemesis. Now that i have a BA prime, i feel like i have 3 scales! BA prime does not scale with Sentinel but i am glad LS03 does.

 

@NemesisJazz Just to clarify...I don't think you can have too many OS Primes...Unless you go that simplified route...the MMP10...BUT, if you love OP you'll get all versions.

That’s worth it if you like that style. To me he looks way too boxy. That’s what happens when they take a voyager and upscale it.

 

Still waiting on a proper MPM Evasion Mode Prime, preferably one without faux parts and with a rusty appearance.

If they do a repaint of BMB BS03 as Nemesis, would you want a darker colored version like the original UT Challenger, or would you want the Black and Purple like the BMB LS03 or Evasion mode KO has??
I think the darker silvers and the darker blues would be prefect for a nemesis version if we want to stay true to the movie lore.. just needs that red on the face.

But if you want Nemesis to be a separate bot all together, then I would say black and reds, or black and purples is the way to go.

 

Sadly it doesn't transform, so not what I am looking for lol.

mine came in 2hrs ago and i did the screw loosening thingy on the shoulders..everything came in intact nothing broken or snapped..

BUT...

both sides of the shoulder tab that tabs into the side of the body was so loose..i mean when tab in and just move it around the whole shoulder assembly came off..the waist peg that tabs in to the lower half was also loose.. yeesshhh..

also! the replacement parts for the shoulders will be metal or alloy..so same shape different material..shipping would be by end month or earlier as my supplier told me..

so for now..im enjoying them..
