Is it me or does his head look a tad bigger? He does not look as chesty as well...

 

Not sure about the head size, but the chest issue was mainly due to that weird dark grey spray they used in the middle, which made the “rib” area look way more pronounced, which this figure doesn’t have. It looked so much better after I painted over some of that.

 

Oh mama! I hope there's plenty of that teal color in alt mode, he'll be my Nightwatch (Knightwatch?) Optimus Prime!

 

LED is red for BS-03s.

 

how are the arm rachets? are they the diecast ones

 

Yes, the shoulder ratchet is metal.

 

But what are the actual ratchets made of/look like? Because the thing that break 100% of the time isn’t what they made metal.

 

Both parts of the shoulder ratchet are made of different diecast metal (one with the chrome finish and the other with no finish). The only plastic part is the white portion you see on my photo above.

 

Got my Nemesis version! I like it it a lot but have two issues, the main one being that I got two of the unmasked head. I'll definitely be putting in a parts request for that. The other is that a good bit of the joints are loose, not super floppy or anything like that and he can hold a pose, but quite a few joints are more loose than I would prefer. Everything else is fantastic though! Plastic seems good, shoulder ratchets feel great, the paint is awesome although I wish that it used some red on the chest like the Black Knight Optimus Prime that this is based on, hell the box art even has the red. The transformation still works very well and the truck form looks fantastic!

 

Did a custom Shield for my repaint version did the figure aswell but will show that later when it’s done

 

Sorry I didn't want to go through all the pages, so just ask question here: I plan to buy one BMB KO OS, between the original colour and this black one, which quality is better? Or they are about the same?

Custom ut Osko Prime Repaint

 

A silver Knight deco for this would be nice to have too I think. I know they wrote it out of the Movie, but it's a cool deco I feel.

 

Oh man I'd love it if they did that! I've been hoping for one ever since the original UT Challenger.

 

I have the original versions and I can see they've changed the lower torso area, what else is different ?
Also does this version also still have hollow feet too ?

 

I believe they made his thighs a bit beefier

Other changes/improvements:
Additional panel to his lower legs (blue panels that covers tires)
Chrome painted hands
Updated paint apps throughout figure, most noticably on chest panels
Cybertronian glyphs on shins
Significant remolding on front and sides of torso
Remolding on biceps (hinge is less visible)
Additional and updated accessories

Probably some I missed, but I think those are most of the main ones. Let me know if you'd like any pictures. Also check out Emgo's review and comparison with UT challenger

Feet are still hollow, haven't had any issues with mine staying put though. There is someone here on the boards that makes custom pieces to fill in the space and lock the feet though. Maybe someone can help me with their name?

 

That’s definitely not everything. I’d suggest doing a search in the thread, or watching a YouTube comparison, as the changes/additions have been outlined many times.
