I pretty much only buy collectable/limited packaging these days, but this one is a little too over the top for my liking. Big, bulky, and probably a lot better in mock-up theory than it will be in actual reality. Still gonna hold out for the inevitable metal or Steelbook version(s).
If only they put as much thought into creating to movies...The package design is awesome, but the movies still have no substance. So...pass. I will just get the 2D BD.

even before i bought my first blu ray, i found the best deal were the dvd blu digi copy packs for me and my ipods. saves me the work of converting dvd to m4v files myself. if there isn't a 3 pack blu that comes with digi copy announced before release date, fancy box or not, i'll just go for the dvd blu digi pack already announced and call it a day... even though i only have dvds and homemade m4v of the first two.
Although I don't mind Blu-Rays, DVDs work just fine for me. I guess my parents are getting a Blu-Ray player in a month or two, so I'll probably end up getting this.

I cant tell you how many times I have heard that. My wife used to say the same thing until we started dating and she got to experience Blu-ray in all its 1080p glory. Now that were maried, she has admited to me that DVDs just wont due anymore. Now all she buys are Blu-rays. And on netflix, if they dont have it on BD, she wont get it.
This! Scary thing is ppl still try and watch BD on SD tv's! Don't get me started on ppl playing Playstation 3's on SD tv's either The amount of comments I see between BD's being no better than DVD and stereoscopic 3D being no better than anaglyphic 3D is ridiculous. Always from those that either don't have a 3D/hdtv or have never seen one either so all based on pure ignorance or they need their eyes checking.
