Bumping this thread because bluey is the greatest kids TV show ever. Don't even need kids to enjoy it, honestly, it's great
Been watching some with my kids. It really is something. It really shows how good a kids’ toon can be.
Bluey is easily one of the best shows targeted towards children out there at the moment, it's incredibly charming.
I don’t think the Wiggles was greenlit by anyone because it was formed as a band by like minded - if very money savvy - artists and became its own thing. At least I think it was.
Clips of this show keep popping up in my YouTube recommends. Looks very cute. I watched the first mini segment. The one with the xylophone. Very cute and I chuckled a bit. Might try a few more. One I want to see is the giving birth one. Looks hilarious.
I watched a bit of an episode where the uncle and somebody else babysit the kids and my god this show is so charming. It’s so cool to be able to watch something and realize you’re watching an iconic show arriving in history.
There are episodes that legit made me tear up as a parent. This is easily one of the best shows being made today.
Ok just watched the hospital one. Laughed hard several times. Genuine laughs. Dad and the kids are playing doctor. Bluey comes in as doctor and pokes dad with a block. "Ow. What was that?" "An injection." "Don't you think you should examine me first?" "I'm very busy.." ok i didn't get the dialogue verbatim but the spirit of it.
Definitely my top show to have the kids watch. By far the best messages, content, and easily watchable as an adult too. That’s a rare thing for kids shows these days
It’s an inspirational show for kids and parents. We have to let our imagination loose and play along with theirs more often. I try, but as any parent knows, it’s hard.
My kids, my partner, and I love this show. It won one Emmy already and is starting to show up in academic periodicals related to childhood development and children's literature.
As a family we sit and watch a couple episodes of Bluey every night. This show has so much charm and heart put in to it, and has plenty for kids but a lot for adults too. There are a couple of episodes that will hit hard no matter how many times we watch it. What I think is great is the production company for the show refuses to release the names of the child voice actors to keep them out of the public eye. If you watch the ending credits it only shows the adults voice actors names.
Bluey is so good. It's one of like 2 shows mine watch that I can stand to watch. The episode "Sleepytime" nearly broke me.
Totally. On the reverse size, no matter how pissed off my 6 year old is, "Ah slipped on mah beans!" slays.
