Exactly. It's more or less a statue. It looks like it has as much articulation of an 80s era MOTU action figure, perhaps less. No other stance other than the default hunched stance. It certainly looks better than the XTB version so far but that's where it stops.

I've wanted a figure of this one just for the oddity of it for a while, and I was so happy to find it the other day! And so cheap too.

Sure, he's a little simplistic and more toon-accurate than a lot of Masterpiece figures, but I think he'll look really neat in my small collection.

The pre-order listing said this would ship in September... So hopefully we can expect to see this Frankenstein monstrosity out before Halloween!

It's too literal. Yes he looks like the cartoon but so much so that he doesn't look like he would belong on a shelf with other Transformers - if that makes any sense.

I think he'll look good next to MP-45 in that respect.

Don't wanna be that guy, but after seeing the pics, I always pictured Autobot Spike to be taller based on most of the shots I remember from the episode. Like... Prime height?

Maybe they scaled him to his parts? That's what I'd do.

Honestly most of my figures are Bumblebees so I'll barely be able to tell, Haha.

He's made of carbot parts, so it'd make sense that he was carbot sized.

Indeed. Since Spike couldn't transform, we must assume they were pre-mass shifted...

I would rather get the XT version but we haven't heard anything since the first reveal. Reminds me of those junkions we're supposed to get from them.

Looking at this though, it sorta looks like it's made of vinyl, not plastic if you know what I mean. How much articulation does it have? I'm just unsure for $40+ Wish we had more information.

No clue why Spike wore a robot body made of corpses, haven’t watched the cartoon, but I love this. It looks cool and slightly unsettling, especially the slack mouth and the way you find more mismatched parts the longer you look.

    Also just found this:

Yeah, that's a hard pass... When this was like £25 it might just about have been worth it as a static curio piece, but now it's more like £35 there are much better things to spend my money on.

I can't wait to get it myself. It has good enough articulation for what it is for me.

Looks like he doesn't move from the waist down. Just the head and arms. :(

His legs move. There are pictures of them moving in this thread. Also, it's only $45 to get a G1 toon accurate Autobot Spike. That's a cheap price to get something that a toon fan would want. If you're not into the cartoon asthetic, this will be an easy pass as it doesn't transform. Me, I am thrilled to pay $45 for this.
