So... in your opinion, which color scheme is better? I am thinking about getting one, but I do not know which to pick.
I guess I'm in the minority, but I like bonzaitron better. It may not represent the character as well as bludgeon, but side by side, I like bonzi's colors better.
why not both. I am thinking do an army building with bludgeon and banzaitron. imagine a fleet of wwii tanks swoops thru my living room , or an army of skeleton warriors can fight my saint seiya figures.
Bludgeon because it's a nice modern day take on the original. And he's a character that was in stuff. I don't even know who this Banzai guy is.
"...And so we leave the Soviet Union of the past. For our next stop on the 'Excessive Military Buildup Can Be Hazardous To Your Budget' tour, we will be looking at the near future of this ordinary-looking Pennsylvania living room, filled with what at first glance appear to be several dozen ordinary scale-model tanks...." On topic: I bought Bludgeon and while I like the alt-mode colors of Banzaitron, I think the face looks too much like Bludgeon just dunked his head in some paint.
well, I'd like to take both, but 20$ more can be spent better elsewhere on another cool mold, yaaaa know?>
Wait for the Takara Toy Festival exclusive. They're going to CHROME it!!!! They're going to mold half of it in CLEAR plastic! They're going to make the turret DIECAST and the threads RUBBER! They might even make it RED and call it WARPATH. New head mold? Sorry that's not in the budget.
I sense..... sarcasm. I dig the original (mainly cause I wasted 2 tanks of gas driving all over to find the bastard)
If they had given Banzai a more traditional face, I'd pick him. But if you're going to do a skull-face, I prefer the skull-white coloration. Therefore, Bludgeon wins.
It's a shame that they decided to remold the heads for repaints after this release in particular. Cause that head is nothing but Bludgeon. So I gotta go with Bludgy.
