ah. ok then. are you in a area of which this storm is is hitting hard? i should be happy that my area is snow-free but im not. well at least im not in tornado season.
I got home an hour and a half later than usual today because two tractor trailers collided at the intersection that leads to my street. Apparently it took everybody by surprise because the roads weren't plowed for shit. To anyone who's got it worse right now be safe.
From an hour or two ago. I'm taking one every hour or so. If it gets as extreme as predicted I'll do a timelapse gif at the end.
They started to close major roadways here due to snow, and my fiance left work 2 1/2 hours ago and is not answering his texts.
Roads are also closed in my area. The amount of snow has increased quite a bit. The wind has also begun to pick up. Perhaps when I shovel tomorrow I'll do the walk way first. Take a break then focus on the driveway (as it is more of a energy consuming task). No point overexerting myself (made that mistake when I was younger).
Just got back from taking my black lab, Grendel, to the park for some snow-fetch. I've never seen a dog so happy, which is awesome because getting him a colder climate was a big part of him moving here. Snow is atleast a foot deep now. I can hear my next door neighbor. He drives his ATV with a snow plow attached to the front. Goes up and down the driveway a number of times. Gets the rest with a shovel (his sons help out). Even helped me clear some last time it snowed. Perhaps it is better to get some out of the way now. Still I'd rather wait until the morning. The cold affects me more than it used to.
Definitely not bad. Just fun as hell! Also: Just called my mother and sister in Florida. They're at Disney World. I informed them that that was some unfair bullshit.
I'm in S. NH and it's been snowing since noon. Really picking up out there. We're supposed to get 2+ feet!!
