Right and we are a year into More Than Meets the Eye...what have we gotten based on the comic again?

And Sideswipe, Fireflight, etc. from Fall of Cybertron are remolds of characters seen YEARS ago from War for Cybertron. Yup.

Not sure what your point is. Did you think they'd start making toys based on MTMTE characters as soon as the first issue was released? FOC was announced to be happening in 2010 and was always going to have an accompanying toyline after the success of WFC. Fireflight is a bizarre retooling of the Shockwave mould, who's character model was used in WFC, Sideswipe was also in WFC, a toy for him has just been released 2 and half years later. Have some patience Grasshopper.

since my perfect effect rewind is going to be buddy buddy with my chromedome, i was looking for someone that eject could hang with.

    city commander cant hold him.
generations blurr can if you flip his hand upside down. it is a big gun, but not too bad.
assaulter can hold him and it looks just the right size. for now thats who is holding him in gun mode...

i love those little pe bots.

It only took alittle over a year from Drift's Spotlight for Hasbro to make him a figure.

I'd love to see that same mojo now with what are arguably better IDW character's.

Drift had appeared long before that.

Spolight: Drift was over a year after his first appearance in AHM.

now see THAT is a perfectly valid point to have.
While I'd love him to have ELBOWS (The one bit of articulation I wish was a 100% requirement on all TF) I'm going to be very happy with FOC Rewind!

Of all the Lost light crew I'd love a MTMTE Red Alert more than anything, He was always one of the very generic 'background repaints' to me.....now he's become a fully fleshed character, but I can't SEE that character looking at any pre-existing toy.

I've said it BEFORE 1984Forever IS James Roberts, he just trolls us for the fun of it so we Praise the book as a knee-jerk reaction.....he's flat out told us in the book! Issue #2 with the mystery bots saying "1984" over and over to Skids, and then at the end of #12 Rung says to Skids "Forever" put it together: "1984Forever" (hows that for totally sound 'logic' ? LOL) Personally I love it! Thanks James!

Didn't Hasbro say that they are planning on at some point doing IDW based figures for Generations?

I don't remember that but I'm not a credible source.

Then I choose to take your admission that you are not a credible source when you say "you don't remember that" to mean "It's totally true we're getting them!"

    What?....Let me dream!

I believe their exact words were more: "Were watching the comics to see who is popular." and "some Generations figures in 2013 will come packed with IDW comics."

Don't call me James! If I were James Roberts I would have flat out refused to write most of the characters on the Lost Light for the simple fact that they were not on the '84 checklist!

Seriously? You guys are crazy as hell with this "I know you're James Roberts" shit. 1984 is the year most of the good Transformers came out, and "Forever" was a word Megatron used frequently when approximating the length of time the Autobots would be destroyed for. It's just a coincidence that my name is in Robert's book 11 issues apart.

I actually sound like a mix of g1 Cliffjumper and Bluestreak. If you could imagine that.

No one actually believes you are James Roberts. Your unique brand of insanity is just so extreme that pretending you are Roberts is one of the most logical explanations for the completely unbelievable stuff you type.

I attempt to rationalize it as one long gag he's playing on us. It's the only thing that keeps the nightmares away.
