Hi guys, I'm new around here and don't know if this has been posted already or where but I was wondering if anyone had a good quality or the actual version of the Black Lab Transformers theme? I have a cheap version that was taken from the music video with all the sounds and people in it that get on my nerves? Just wondering if anyone could help me out here.

I bought a copy off of iTunes for $1, as well as the MuteMath version that is far less awesome. Hope that helps.

    Also, welcome to the boards.

I don't think we can post like this on the boards. But if you try hard enough, there ought to be some p2p software that can snag it for ya. >.>

I like the Black Lab version until he lightly moans "Transformers". At least Linkin' Park's version released by Sector 7 sounded a bit more excited!

Yeah both of those are on my MP3 player...
ok so seriously, is that really Linkin Park performing it? It really does sound like them, but no one has ever confirmed it

you can sign up at emusic and get it for free. search the web for the "free 50 mp3's" code. Hell it seems they give those away all the time. They have it! If I recall, its DRM free as well!

    EDIT: No code needed: http://www.emusic.com/

Hahaha, I just listened to that for the first time, and I'm almost positive that's not Linkin Park, though it apes their older style a bit. Also, it's awful. It's like the Turtle Power Rap from TMNT I, only far, far less awesome.

    Yeah, Mutemath really botched it.
Could the singer sound less interested in singing?

Well whoever sang it. The metal version, not the Emo version.

And on the topic of ninja turtles:

    Yo, it's the green machine.
Gonna' rock the town without bein' seen.
Have you ever seen a turtle get down?
SLammin' and jammin' with the new school sound.
    Yeah, everybody let's move.
Vanilla is here with the new jack groove
Gonna rock, and roll the place.
With the power of the Ninja Turtle bass.
    ICEMAN
    You know I'm not playin'
Decimate the show while the turtles are sayin'

    NINJA-NINJA RAP
    NINJA-NINJA RAP
    NINJA-NINJA RAP
    GO GO GO GO
    GO NINJA GO NINJA GO
    GO NINJA GO NINJA GO
    GO NINJA GO NINJA GO
    GO GO GO GO

    I'm done.

It's a shame really. They are big fans of Anime and giant robots. They might have come up with something cool. Least they had their song in the movie.

I actually bought that Black Lab album ("Technologie"). Easily my favorite album of 2007.

Odd. I really don't like any of these versions. Only Lion's theme gets me pumped up.

So true, maybe they'll be in he sequel since they asked to be in the first movie and their song was a hit.
