Anyone actually going for any of the deals out there? Might actually see if we can get a good deal on slow cooker. Something my husband has wanted for a long time.
Most of my Christmas shopping is done already lol. Maybe a new griddle or some pots and pans *shrugs* that are kinda needed lol.
Still to this day I get paranoid about leaving a slow cooker unattended lol Even those electric pellet smokers for BBQ has my Spidey senses tingling.
Oh ok I gotcha! Yea if you're @ home then it's fine. I know some folks set it before they leave to work and in theory when they come back they either have a meal or a burnt down house lol. Also I see Alot of pulled pork sandwiches for your husband's future lol
Looking for some monitors to replace my CRT's, so I may check Best Buy on Friday afternoon. Amazon has some good deals, but it's not a good idea to purchase electronics online. I say it every year: I refuse to contribute to making poor people work in service on Thanksgiving. My wife and I usually come out on Friday afternoon after the madness has subsided to do a little dvd shopping at Target. Even in the afternoon, there's still plenty of merchandise remaining. I haven't looked at the ads yet, but I'm hoping End Game and Hobbs and Shaw will be on sale.
Yeah, I was looking up some recipes and was kind of shock you have to leave it on all day. But, most of them have an automatic safety shut off if it gets too hot.
Looking at getting a 200-250 Playstation 4 simply because my friend keeps nagging me to get one so I can join his Destiny 2 clan.
Wasn't that the same deal last year? It was a ps4 with Spiderman bundle for $199? I did see those deals, and I wasn't sure if it was the same deal.
I'm waiting to see what Fry's and Micro Center is offering for potential computer parts. I did consider that 200 dollar Nintendo Switch rumor a few weeks ago, but honestly kind of revealed it turned out to be a hoax.
I dunno. I'm probably going to snag it off newegg - I think its Fortnite this year as the bundle but I ain't touching that cancer.
Yikes, I'm glad my delivery drivers aren't assholes like that. Also, I've had the same mindset about Black Friday ever since leaving retail. I refuse to go out and contribute to that nonsense. Though, even back in 2014 (the last year I worked retail) we were already starting to see a sharp decline Black Friday sales with a major increase in Cyber Monday sales. Why go out and fight for something in the Black Friday insanity when you can just get the same deal ordering it online? And from what I've heard Cyber Monday sales continue to increase with Black Friday decrease.
Just a heads up but last year's Blk Friday @ GameStop I believe they had a Door buster type of deal where you buy a PS4 with a game for $200 BUT they also in that deal gave you a Free year PlayStation Plus for 6 months or a year I recall. That deal did however sell out fast and all was left was the usual $200 PS4 Holiday package w/o the Free PlayStation plus membership.
Yes. Being in Australia, we see video footage of Americans fighting / car park shootings on the News... without fail. Must be a tradition of some sort.
It used to be worse before internet shopping blew up. People take $20 savings seriously. Life threateningly seriously apparently. I remember watching two people about to scrap over a parking space at the Palisades Mall. Heard stories of much worse than that though.
