    Holy...Crap!

    Bioshock set in the sky!

    UPDATE:
    http://kotaku.com/5607451/bioshock-infinite-goes-beyond-the-sea--into-the-skies

So more like a different take rather than a direct tie to the existing series.

Playing Bioshock now. Bought 1 and 2 at Blockbuster for $20 each.

Both fantastic games too. The first one has better narrative and the second builds more on the play mechanics and focuses on that. Either way, I loved them both.

Hooooooly shit. 2012 release, eh? Hopefully this means they've been taking their time on the project.

Should not have the Bioshock name attached. It seems like a crutch at this point.

They can call it "Monkey Nut Punch: Honda Car Stripe" and I would still be drooling over that trailer.

I think the setting is a complete winner, however on hearing the name any and all interest was killed. Hoping they can turn that around before launch.

    :lol  nice.

To clarify, because it might appear I am just hatin'. I believe Ken Lavine is one of the best, if not the best true auteurs in the western gaming industry at present who is involved on the narrative side of the game creation process. I think it's actually a disservice to lump this in with Bioshock after Bioshock 2. I do understand that it's likely a marketing decision to ensure and increase awareness as Lavine doesn't have great caché outside of a very distinct part of the intended audience.

Its not like Bioshock suffered for not being System Shock 3. :(

I figured it was a city in the sky since it was tagged with "Icarus". I'll give it a try, still need to play Bioshock 2 though.

So is this the official Bioshock 3 or will there be some other game officially titled Bioshock 3 further along?

Regardless, looks impressive & I will definitely play it.

This looks interesting, both bioshock games were fun and the trailer for this looks good so we will see.

#1: Why does the past have better technology than the future?

Damn this looks great, and the release in 2012 looks good for me as well. Now to shorten my que of games and finish the original Bioshocks.
