The next BioShock game is officially in the works from a brand new studio at 2K Games | GamesRadar+ New BioShock game announced, still Wonder how they will turn it into a micro transaction riddled mess.
First reaction: elation. One of my favorite series ever. Second reaction: cautious enthusiasm. Brand-new studio? Hrrmmmm...they better not f*** this up.
A bump I know but playing the Bioshock collection for myself really makes me looking forward to the 4th game.
There hasn't been any rumors since has there? I saw the logo of Bioshock 4 with the big daddy in the video at the top and my assumption is that's a fan logo right? I hope we don't go to Rapture. The entire time I played Bioshock 2 I felt part of me saying "this feels kind of tedious and unnneeded, why am I not having as much fun as the first time?" And Infinite doing a whole new city and story was so refreshing and fun! I thought of Bioshock 4 again because recently to celebrate the new year I took a friend of mine through the first Bioshock for the first time. I love the city of Rapture but the first game did feel like it had a definitive ending that the second failed to justify trying to expand on (to me). Does anyone remember the articles that were coming out when Bioshock 2 was first announced? I remember reading stories about Big Sister. I remember being really hyped because at first it sounded like there was just going to be 1 Big Sister and you were going to cat and mouse with her throughout the entire game like Nemesis or Mr T, but I wonder if I'm just misremembering things.
I believe it's a fan logo, we might go back to rapture though. There hasn't been any recent announcements. Although I hope it's a new location. Also while I enjoyed the gameplay of Bioshock 2 more than the first, I felt it was more of the same. The plot didn't hold a candle though.
