This, coming from the source, has made me seriously consider buying another one, if I can't get a replacement head. If someone is going to release a painted Arcee head for this figure, then I'll happily purchase that in lieu of the defected one.

Just wanted to share the 1st Run Head I got from @NothingHead (I'm also getting a Head from his 2nd Run) I'm honestly quite proud to own this. I took a culmination of many things in the grand cog to make this particular head project happen. The results are spectacular in my humble opinion.

The head turned out pretty decent, The paint is decent, The Ruby Red Visor turned out great.

Also wanted the add, the the is solid. I purposely did a few drop tests myself. solid. The Inner Head Peg is also pretty solid, I turned my NICEE's neck without having to use any Lube or anything. Granted I didn't Ham Hand it. :lol  I used an artist's touch. ;)

I believe a special coating was used on the paint and that's why there's a subtle off white color to the White Pearlescent that was used in the mix. Remember Lads, This is a Garage Kit. It's not a Mass Produced Has/Tak Piece or a high grade 3P piece, this was made by 1 guy in his home.

My head took him longer than the rest because of the RED Visor. He was using methods he never used before to make it. I feel it came out great. (I saw my 2nd Head from batch 2. and wow. I'll be posting it up just as soon as I'm able to.) ;)

Can we swap faces between the stock head and the custom head? Doesn't look like it, but I wanted to double-check.

Hey, I've been looking for something like this. When and where can I acquire this 'upgrade' to make it a more visually palatable figure? :D

Great work @SuperMegaAutobot! I was about to buy a spray I saw in the shop the other day. Now I'll probably just order the brand you used. Did you apply a primer first? Did you have to apply your Tamiya very thickly?

Thanks. No I sprayed just a single coat in that photo. I believe those Tamiya spray paints are lacquers, so they adhere to plastic well. I just do multiple quick passes from about 12 inches away with them and wait up between 30 seconds to a minute between passes. One thing I've noticed from using them in the past is that it's better to go lighter than heavy with them, as you can get 'orange peel' effect when it is too heavy.

I'm not the best painter and am a bit impatient when it comes to base/primer coats (I try to get away without using them) so others may have better guidance about how they should be used.

I picked up my copy today. Initial impressions are great. The quality is what I wish Takara masterpieces came with. I'll definitely look into getting one of the G1-esque heads. I won't be able to properly put her through her paces for a while though.

You and @trashk Can PM me for additional details.

I haven't devoted an extreme amount of time trying to paint match the pink, but I'm hoping to test out what I hope is a close match later this week when some supplies I ordered come in. I'll share any findings for anyone else who might be looking for a similar thing.

Did he ship it DHL? That is pretty much the equivalent to EMS speed wise. He also may have shipped it DHL (if he even did), because EMS is refusing shipments to certain different countries - USA being one of them.

My last few orders from Japan have been DHL because EMS is not shipping here (to USA). And the speed was just as fast as EMS if not faster.

    Ahh I see :(

Have you tried messaging him about it? I hope it works out and you can be refunded some of your shipping money.
