Regardless, we're way off topic here, and we're all pointing fingers at one another. I think the more productive discussion is whether this line and company have a future, and what this means for 3P in general. As I've said on other threads, diversifying products at this point gives audiences more choice.

 

BFB through their FB fan page has just released either a render or early sample photo of EX-02 (ex-Windblade) in addition to the EX-01 repaint. I treat it as a sign that they are staying in the game.
I would really like to see a color sample/render of EX-02. Then it will be possible to definitely tell how much of an homage to TF they are planning to make with their deforming figures.

the 2 new alt mode images have been added to the 1st post. (Not adding the bot mode for obvious reasons)

 

The alt mode looks pretty good.

 

Trying hard to see of the boss will share some larger hi-res images. no reply yet.

 

Have there been any changes to the bot to make it look like a unique bot and not just an Arcee repaint?

As it is, there's a Super Gobots Psycho look to the alt mode.

 

Much obliged. Looks like they are making the hair/helmet noticibly different enough to avoid IP issues, but similar enough in spirit. Interested to see how this will turn out. I'm honestly surprised more 3rd Party companies haven't attempted a take on the character.

 

Off the bat, new helmet (same actual face), new knee plates, shoulder plates. ankle guards. new weapons. All 3 images posted are digital photo edits or what we call Digi-bashes. No actual promotional photos have been shared just yet.

Shame they haven't updated the face plate. Hate the stock Nicee face almost as much as I despise the "o" face. The rest of the figure is spectacular.

BFB's illustration of the Nicee anime face is beautiful. Their execution is derpy.

 

Her color scheme reminds me of Arcee's Combiner Hunter paint scheme. Given how the mold already evoked a lot of Arcee I wouldn't be shocked if that was the intention. Either way she's still looking sweet.  

 

Any hint for a release date?
