    Leave her in alt-mode then.

I’m slightly tempted, but to me the price is too high for (what would be in practice for me) a static car model.

I know im going to get an angry PM later, but I gotta ask-

What if I were to tell you there is group of us working on headlights for both using 1mm micro LED's?

Would that persuade you at all?

That sounds awesome. For me, though, sadly lights are useless unless they're wired. I display my figures on shelves and there's no way I'm going to go around turning all the lights on just to admire them for a minute and then turn them back off. If they were wired and I could just leave them turned on or run them to a switched outlet, though, I'd use them all the time. I'm actually thinking about getting one of those induction field led kits from China and replacing all my bumblebee movie figures' eye lights with the induction powered lights. The kit is a little on the pricey side, though, so I haven't slotted it into my budget yet.

Disappointing to see so many of the livery bits are pre-applied. When I heard that they came on a decal sheet, I had hopes for a "clean" version. Not a big fan of the symbol on her boob (not because it's on her boob - I just don't think it looks good), the little heart, and I really don't like the stupid "Nice!" on her thigh, especially since it's at a nonsensical angle in car mode. It's not like Jazz or Wheeljack where she's based on a real racing car with real livery and I just don't care for fake racing brands and stuff (I do like some of the stripes and stuff, though).

It's also a little frustrating to me how little time these reviewers spend on her regular bot mode, always taking all the car bits off immediately and spending almost the entire review that way. I think the wings are a huge part of her design and want to see more of her in that mode (the schoolgirl bow, cat ears, and weird bunny head will be left in the box).

Other than that, looking good. Not sure I'll be able to fit her into the budget - this rush of releases leading up to CNY has really hammered my wallet. If I can't, it's not a huge deal, but I'll try to snag her when I can.

I just thought that about the decals, but I wasn't sure. When she has so much on her already, it's almost pointless to include more optional ones. I wasn't looking forward to putting all the ones I already liked on, but I was enjoying the idea of being able to customize her (putting the "Nice!" logo on her thigh correctly, most of all), and I could appreciate that some people wanted her clean. I can't stop seeing the symbol on her boob as some dollar store version of the Avenger's logo, so I wouldn't have put that there either.
So it's bittersweet for me, but I had already accepted the previous bittersweetness, dammit

I think a lot of it is because Nicee has been out for some time now and those options on Mocha are "new." Even the promotional pics tend to focus more on the varied looks and I'm assuming that selling point led to more focus on that stuff naturally.

The fact that I had towards 20 people willing and able to jump in on that group order for the cat ears release within a day really showed me personally how big of a deal these option parts are for people. I don't see most buying this to display as "Black Nicee."

    -----------------

Speaking of the cat ears... after watching a review I don't think they should have been a regional, limited-release exclusive. They're small but add so much to the aesthetic and general vibe of the piece. So much fanservice.

Know it won't happen, but I'd probably get a Nicee 2.0 with the same removable back kibble feature as Mocha (but wouldn't want to mod my to do so)

If I'm honest, my motive for going in on your group buy was more FOMO than need (or want) of cat ears specifically. But options are always appreciated.

I'm not looking for anyone's reasoning here; I'm just glad to have been able to help people track them regardless. Like you said; options are appreciated.

This is exactly my thought on lights as well. I really like them, but the back and forth for a few minutes of “oooh!” is just too much work haha. If there was a wired option to keep them on or shut them all off at once, while being able to be disconnected to mess with the figure, I’d be all for something like that.
