Adorably cool. Very fascinated by the concept of a combiner with boobs.

 

I've got the ladies on pre-order already. They're cute individually. As they've been hush-hush about showing it off, though, I wonder how close they managed to get the combined form to their concept art. The tank component is new.

 

Very cute in a chibi sort of way.

That tank is going to be a mindless drone, and houses the combiner parts for the gestalt mode.

So basically firebird is becoming an official company? That's great! I wonder if they'll start putting out the other designs they showed off as magic Henshin. And more importantly if they are, will firebird become a separate entity? Fascinating

 

Big Firebird has always been an "official company". Just their Transformers related products will obviously be done "off the books". But a number of their other products have been solicited through major retailers already, like that "Robot Build" line of mecha figures.

Amiami, for example lists them as "Daikatori Omocha", which I'm reasonably certain is just the Japanese translation of "Big Firebird Toys". No branching out to hide their identity or anything.

Daikacho/Daikatori is literally Big Fire Bird in Japanese. Magic Henshin is most likely going to be this cutesy robot transformers series. Next one in line seems to be the Wolf girl?





That said, hopefully Scarlet Sonic is mistransformed and her torso bike mode can sit lower like in the art, because that official image looks wonky XDXD

 

The difference in the ride height is mostly just in the angle of the photo. The photo is more side-on, which shows off the gap under the wheels. In the art, the arm kinda hides that (and seems just a bit bigger, as well).

 

Huh fair enough. I need to pay more intention. So they're doing a line of girls that transform into things. Okay. Still, its cool, and things like this are a fresh breath of air. Im not buying these, but thats just because there's already too much to buy. Also, God knows how questioning relatives will be...

 

I seriously love the style of these cute little things, like if this were a game series or Anime I'd be all over it.

I was also unaware that they were able to combine, that's pretty sweet.

 

Oh yeah, wondering if they'll have interchangeable hands. Theyre all using fixed pose hands and it'd just be weird if we don't get anything else

 

The product photos on Amiami et al show alternate hands and faces among the accessories.

 

they look really cute like nenderoids but looking at some of the art tells me that cuteness is meant for something else...

I've been ignoring these. I'm not really into chibi stuff, except the IF fembots (Unfortunately I'd been ignoring those too until I decided to get the limited deco 'mini-Windblade' as Titan Metroplex's city-speaker. I ended up getting Shrike's Feather as well. I was hoping we'd get more redecos of that mold for a Seeker squadron. Next time IF reveals a new fembot, it's preordered.) . Now that I've found these transform (and I like the first one's red bike mode. I keep thinking (NuRID) Sideswipe for some reason), they've suddenly become more appealing. It kind of went from 'boring/ Nendroid ripoff' to 'this is kind of interesting'.

Also 'Scarlet Dragon' apparently turns into a tank and a dinosaur, as well part of the combiner . Dinosaur mode? That's got me a bit curious.

I don't think I'll be collecting these though. They don't go with the IF fembots (IMO), though I am going from a 'this isn't quite my type of combiner' mindset to 'she is a fembot combiner, though, and might turn out better than the last ones'. Also she might be a candidate for the Hello Kitty-formers and My Little Prime shelf.

I guess I'll wait and see. I'd pick a new IF fembot over these any day, though (hint, guys).

 

I don't really see this becoming a dirty thread because, they look chibi, more cute than sexy. Also it'd just be a bit creepy over these. So wondering if they'll do more combiners like these after the wolf. Because this one is pretty well designed. Can't have these near family, but can appreciate it. Legs are a bit long but I don't see the dragon in there, so things may change

The Dragon is an entirely new component that hasn't been shown previously. Other characters similar to these are just illustrations atm, but i really hope they get made! So CUTE/COOL!! It's crazy how transformation looks impossible at first glance, but on closer inspection it actually works.
